24.01.2022 An example of why your emergency contact number is required to be someone local if you can. A neighbour is a very good option as we live in a flood zone and emergencies as we have learnt in the past year certainly do happen

23.01.2022 Stormy weather tomorrow What works for your pet during a storm? Is your pet frightened of stormy weather? Does the loud rain, thunder and wind scare them...? Do they dig their way out of your yard and go missing? Make sure your are always ready for bad weather and how your pets will react. Many pets escape during bad weather and this is both distressing for pet owners and their pets. Make sure they are microchipped if they escape Try a thundershirt for anxiety Keep them inside Try music to calm them and block out the noise from the storm Keep them distracted #stormpets #nswsouthcoast #jervisbayvet #northnowravet

14.01.2022 We love that we are still remembered in Sydney But we havnt serviced the area in 3 years and we are still getting many enquiries each week. Claire is a lovely lady who we highly recommend. She services all the areas we did and also looks after all types of animals which we loved caring for as small as lizards to big horses. Claire is ready to take on all of our old clients and also all of our enquiries ... We are sure all of our missed pets will love Claire, let's show her some local Glenmore Park and surrounding love and support

11.01.2022 What better time is it to finally take a break !!! We have been working most days over the past 5 years with Miella and have always put our pet friends first, now with this horrible virus we have decided to take time out for ourselves to recharge and to keep ourselves healthy. We apologise for any inconvenience, and will put a post up when we return ... Stay well

10.01.2022 Another few days of heat are forecast for many areas. Here's what you can do: Put water out for wildlife ... You can find further information at https://www.wires.org.au//wildlife-fact/water-for-wildlife Check pools, including skimmer boxes regularly in case animals seeking water have fallen in. Provide a means of escape from the pools. In areas fires have been or are still active keep a box in your vehicle with a cotton pillowcase and a shallow dish and water bottle to offer water to animals who may have fled the fires If you find an animal with burns or other injuries please call WIRES where possible take to the nearest vet immediately. Wrap loosely in 100% cotton fabric, handle as little as possible. Many flying-fox colonies over recent months have been severely impacted by a combination of starvation and heat. Please remember to NEVER touch a bat. If you see a bat of flying-fox on the ground please do not approach but provide shade gently mist intermittently and call WIRES 1300 094 737. There is further information about Food, Water and Shelter for wildlife at https://www.wires.org.au//emergency-food-and-water-for-wil
