13.01.2022 Today we had some special visitors from Future Care Dental Services. The Dentist and her Dental Assistant shared a story with us called ‘Dr Rabbit meet Brushalotomous’. The story focused on different foods and drinks that are ‘sometimes’ foods. We discussed that sometimes foods are not always good for our teeth and that we should be mindful of foods and drinks that are high in sugar because they can cause cavities and decay on our teeth. We also spoke about the importance o...f brushing our teeth twice a day as well as regular visits to the dentist. Some of our friends then had a check up with the dentist. This involved the dentist counting the children’s teeth, checking for cavities and giving a clean with some yummy ‘strawberry milkshake’ flavoured toothpaste. All of the Mighty Kidz Dental Patients were super brave! Well done for taking such good care of your teeth everyone!

05.01.2022 Last week at Mighty Kidz we celebrated Book Week. Reading is my Special Power. The children were invited to dress up in their favourite superhero or book character costume. We saw lots of wonderful costumes, such as Harry Potter and Peter Rabbit, as well as some favourites such PJ mask, Spider-Man and Paw Patrol. ... The Pre-School children were invited to participate in a parade on Wednesday at Gymea Bay Public school, everyone did a wonderful job parading their fabulous costumes with the children from the school. Mighty Kidz held their very own Book Week Parade on the same afternoon, which all Children we’re excited to participate in. Our families and friends came along for the parade and a yummy, healthy afternoon tea. Book week was a great success, we will continue to incorporate our favourite books within our educational programs as an extension of our Book Week 2019 activities.
