12.01.2022 Mouth breathing has adverse affects on facial growth and health. Once should be nasal breathing for 90% of the time. If you or your child mouth breaths, please know this is not optimal and can have life long health consequences. We can assist you to correct mouth breathing to be nasal breathing. It is usually a multi-disciplinary approach that may consist of an Ear Nose and Throat surgeon, dentist, orthodontist, speech pathologist or manual therapist (osteopath, physiotherapist, chiropractor, Myotherapist).

07.01.2022 Derek Nadela is an orthodontist from the Phillipines. I like to think he is also an engineer if ingenious solutions so he can keep working. In the times of COVID, here at Might Mouth Speech Patholgy, we are all doing our best to find solutions to keep our staff and clients safe and well. We are still only seeing clients via Telehealth whilst we source and review the options available.

06.01.2022 Holistic care and wellbeing are outcomes that we strive to provide for my clients at Mighty Mouth SpeechPatholgy. We see many school children here at our clinic and love it when we hear of a teacher nominated for the incredible work that they do with and for our beautiful children. But this is special because it’s for the 2020 International Stevie Awards in the category of COVID-19 Response Category for Education Hero of the Year. When we heard that she is completing the innovative Australasian Sustainable Wellness Academy(ASWA) Diploma of Wellness Leadership program we had to support her and the school. Here at Mighty Mouth we have all completed ASWA’s team wellbeing program. By the team completing the program together we can better support ourselves and each other.
