24.01.2022 Interesting..... This article talks about how to increase the Australian economy and it mentions immigration..... It states: "While bringing in migrants is impossible right now and may be tricky if unemployment remains high, remember that people produce economic growth simply because they consume stuff.... There shouldn’t be a shortage of people wanting to move to Australia when borders reopen, given our success in dealing with the coronavirus compared with much of the world."

20.01.2022 There's no two ways about it, international students are great for the South Australian economy, but we could be doing much better if the SA Government and Minister Patterson had their priorities right... https://www.adelaidenow.com.au//7fc4b16a1f12d97c6c427fbf02

20.01.2022 Great News.... Changes to the SA DAMA mean that it is now possible to be sponsored to work in the horticulture industry on a temporary visa, then get PR. The new rules state that you must have a minimum Cert 3 qualification and at least 12 months work experience (minimum 20 hours per week). This is a significant change from the previous 2 years post qualification work experience requirements visa requirements. Occupations include Nurseryperson, Primary Products Inspectors, Production Horticulturalist, Senior Production Horticulturalist and even truck drivers. This is a significant change to the eligibility criteria and is available for anyone who is currently studying or has previously graduated with relevant qualifications. To find out more contact Migration Solutions today.. https://fb.watch/1xB4_Y0vuL/

20.01.2022 The politics of the Australian migration program never fails to frustrate me. Labour and the Coalition (the Majors) are just as bad as each other. Julian Hill is attacking the Government for something the ALP was equally as bad at..

19.01.2022 Its not the Melbourne Cup but a great story from 2017 about an apprentice jockey from Ireland who we assisted with an occupational training visa.

19.01.2022 A recent story about some work we do with Guide Dogs South Australia and the importance of the Australian Migration Program to their day to day operation..

11.01.2022 Adelaide has been ranked the third most liveable city in the world! The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) annual ranking of the most liveable cities. Read the article to see how the rankings changed.

11.01.2022 Skilled Work Regional Visas are important to Australia’s economy and skills. Labour and skills shortages over a range of occupations have always been an issue to regional Australia. Migration Solutions also proudly helped Ravi to obtain his Direct Entry 187 RSMS visa in only 10 mon...ths! Watch our video now.

11.01.2022 Just a summary on the month so far - Migration Solutions had two successful AAT cases (RSMS 187 for a Restaurant Manager and RSMS 187 for a Cook) with both decisions made on the submission papers! This meant that the applicants did not have to attend a hearing. We also had a win on a complex AAT case for a client who was in immigration detention. The applicant’s Bridging Visa E was refused because he was advised that he didn't meet the character test. The decision was appealed and successful at the AAT. The client has now reunited with his family, including his partner and two children! Congratulations to our clients and thank you for all the hard work that Trang and Vanessa put in to supporting them.

It is a significant drop compared to this time last year when we had received 645 visa grants, this is due to the impact of corona-virus and the way the Department are delaying the processing of many visa applications. 07.01.2022 The Australian economy has significantly benefited due to the positive impact of migration to Australia, however, with migration numbers falling and set to remain low for many years, is it time to make it easier for anyone in Australia on a temporary visa to get permanent residency visa. I think so..

06.01.2022 One thing that Covid has shown is the importance of migration to Australia. Migration to Australia is one of a number of critical components of our national economy and even more important in low population growth and regional areas. We must now look at what we want to achieve from the Australian migration program and make significant structural reforms to ensure that we maximise the economic opportunities and outcomes available through migration to assist with Australia's post Covid economic recovery.

04.01.2022 If you have some questions for us, register to attend our Q&A next Tuesday. Although SA is on PAUSE for a few days, we're still 'at the ready' to answer your questions.

04.01.2022 Australia's migration program and its settings are absolutely crazy and very short sighted. Its time for significant reforms to help rebuild the Australian economy post COVID19.

03.01.2022 Our next live Q&A is on Tuesday 10 November at 4pm. Join us to hear from our migration experts, who have lots to share on important updates to the South Australian DAMA, travel bans and related changes. http://ow.ly/apqc50Cd2lZ

02.01.2022 We invest a lot of time in supporting the community and advocating for migrants living in Australia, as well as lobbying for legislative change. Read more about what we do around advocacy. http://ow.ly/sXGp50BZiVl

02.01.2022 Its like Groundhog Day. Business, industry and our regions are crying out for more migrants to support our regions, economy and our workforce, but the State and Federal Government not listening or doing anything about it. In 2012 the RSMS regional employer sponsored migration program had 20,000 approvals, fast forward to 2019/20 and its regional replacement (the 494) had less than 100 approvals. There was absolutely no need to remove the RSMS 187 visa. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au//ed3ab285f0fa68f97907d0732c
