17.01.2022 GREECE, get ready! From 1st of July 2019 new work and holiday visa program starts. 500 places per year available. Candidates have to hold or be studying towards tertiary qualifications and to have a functional level of English.

The new stream is available to eligible university graduates who have studied for at least two years in Western Australia at a Western Australian university, and have an available occupation on the new Graduate occupation list for the intended visa subclass. 16.01.2022 From 1 July 2019 holders of a second Subclass 417 (Working Holiday) visa or Subclass 462 (Work and Holiday) visa will be able to apply for a third year of the same visa type. The requirement is to spend 6 months working in specified areas of regional Australia. This is in addition to the three months of work required to obtain the second visa.



16.01.2022 Skilled Occupation Lists - QLD Civil Engineer (233211), Electrical Engineer (233311) and Mechanical Engineer (233512) was removed from all the Queensland Skilled Occupation Lists on 24 October 2018. The quota for this occupation has been filled. BSMQ may open these occupations later if the current invitees do not respond in the required time frame.

13.01.2022 UPDATE Changes in partner visas didn't go ahead as scheduled. New date is not known at this stage. NEWS PARTNER VISA From 17 April 2019 partner visa applications require an approved sponsorship application prior to the visa application lodgement.... That means sponsoring partner has to apply first and be approved before partner visa can be applied for. 09.01.2022 Good news about the Work and Holiday Maker program (subclass 462) for Peruvians, Spanish and Israeli citizens. The number of places available has increased For Peruvians from just 100 to 1500 per year. For Spanish from 1,500 to 3,400 per year.... For Israeli from 500 to 2,500 per year. While on the first visa, you may undertake specified work in regional areas to become eligible for a second Work and Holiday visa and extend their stay. From 1 July 2019, the option of a third year stay will also be available to them if they undertake six months of regional work in their second year in Australia. 07.01.2022 New 5-year sponsored parent visa From 17 April 2019 Australian citizens, permanent residents and eligible NZ citizens will be able to apply for a sponsorship for their parents to get a visa for 3 or 5 years. Visa applications are expected to be accepted from July 2019. Approved parents will be able to stay for 3 or 5 years at a time without departing. Three year validity visa fee is $5000. 06.01.2022 Great news for Poland. Additional 1000 places for Work & Holiday Visa from October 2019 (it used to be 500 now 1500 per year). Visa can be granted for one year with option to extend it for second and third year for candidates who undertake specific work in a regional area for prescribed time.
