05.01.2022 Systemic Family Constellations aim to unite that which has been made separate and include that which has been excluded. According to the order of love, everyone in the system has the equal right to belong. Entanglements often happen when certain people or events have been excluded, usually because of the unbearable pain or shame, and can be transferred through generations. If you have never experienced this process before, you might be wondering what the constellation proc...ess actually looks like. You are in for an incredible experience. Typically in a constellation the person comes with an issue they would like to look at and explore. Often times, they can sense the emotions already stirring up in their body or may feel anxious beforehand. As we may say, they are ripe and there is a lot of energy present. The person then, guided by the facilitator, chooses representatives from the group to represent people or abstract concepts (like illness, addiction, death etc) that are relevant for this specific constellation. They are placed in the spatial relation to each other in the space. Representatives usually start feeling emotions, sensations in the body, and a desire to move in connection to other representatives. Additional representatives may emerge in the process. At some point, the person may take their own place in the constellation instead of their representative to embody, experience and participate in the solution. The facilitator may suggest movements and sentences to facilitate the process of disentanglement so the love, underneath it all, can start flowing freely again. In a blind constellation, the process is very similar, only the representatives are not aware of who or what they are representing (that is revealed later) so the interference of the logical mind and expectations is bypassed. Constellation is a very experiential process and may affect not only the person setting up their constellation and their system, but also the representatives and the observers on a very deep level. The effects can unfold in the days, weeks and months after. 04.01.2022 You are the dream of all your ancestors. Bert Hellinger (But you are NOT responsible for healing them) Some of our patterns, wounds and suffering may be caused by ancestral issues passed on through generations. By re-living these patterns, we are actually not serving our ancestors. Their suffering is prolonged if we are taking it on and carrying it with us. We are not responsible for HEALING our ancestors- that would assume us to be bigger than them, when in fact they were ...the ones that have given us the gift of life. We can only love and respect them in their fate. To break the cycle, their suffering needs to be seen. Acknowledged. Bowed to. No matter how painful it is to see it, it needs to be given space and included in the system. And only then, after a deep bow to whatever the fate of our ancestors may have been, we can thank them for everything they have passed on to us, including our life. And we can ask for their blessing to choose a different life. To move from pain and suffering to love and joy, and make the best of the life we have been given. In that, their suffering has not been in vain, and they continue to be honoured by us living our lives to the fullest potential.
