That's why discolouration is so noticeable. And being more prone to laxity, fine lines creep in more easily too. So when applying products under your eyes, it's important to take care and treat the skin delicately: Apply product with your ring finger as it has the lightest touch. Use gentle 'pat and press...' motions (not rubbing) to apply. This will also work the product more effectively into skin. Build product up in light layers, rather than one heavy one.
