22.01.2022 Well Done to Team 1MADPP Racing on the great start to the Goldenstates at the #perthmotorplex. We managed to get the car off the line well with 1.1 seconds to 60' and a new personal best of 7.87 @ 164mph. The top end speed was low showing signs of being down on power, as we had run 174mph a few days earlier. Unfortunately the engine failed again on the next pass, putting us on the trailer early.

21.01.2022 Good seeing Peter Appleby out having a go in his Super Sedan WB ute. Got knocked out in second round of racing but came back out for some exhibition runs in front of the crowd before the finals and running a 9.69 personal best. We have it booked to come down for a new wishbone front end and to tune the 4 link rear end. Excited to see how it goes next.

11.01.2022 Well here it is, the car responsible for all that Sunday morning Horsepower! Lorenzo Gullotto's/DS Racing's '88 Foxbody Mustang! Packing a 572ci Big-chief heade...d BBC with a custom solid roller camshaft from none other than John Bewley at Full Proof Performance, fed by a pair of Precision Promod 88's and backed by a PTC convertor and Al's Race Glides 2spd T400 trans. Finally a Driveshaft Shop carbon driveshaft and Race Products full floater cromoly 9" finishes off the driveline! Holley EFI Dominator runs the show, of course, which was all wired in by good friend John O'Dwyer, including a Motec PDM and switch panel to control the essentials. Chassis fabrication was taken care of by Mik Waters Fabrication while all of the turbo fabrication was carried out by Danny from Spot On Performance & Fabrications! Paintwork by Kustom Rides Panel and Paint and final assembly by the team at DS RACING themselves! Huge credit to the DS guys, showing time and time again that they can build a badass racecar! Again we would like to thank the Gullotto family and DS Racing for giving us another opportunity to be a big part of their race program and we are looking forward to more years of working with them and pushing forward with this car!
