10.01.2022 How To Pack A LCD TV When Moving. Your LCD TV is probably be the most challenging items on your packing list. They are extremely delicate. Probably the best way to pack your LCD TV is using the original box that you bought it in. They are designed to protect the delicate screen and components. ... However most people as soon as they unpack the TV the box goes outside to the rubbish area. If you are one of those people that throw out the box, dont panic, Its not the end of the world. We have a very simple solution for you. It dose not guarantee that it will protect the TV completely as there are other factors involved other than packing. One cannot guarantee the driver of the vehicle, how it was loaded on truck or the condition of the road. In my point of view the best way to pack a LCD TV is this. 1) You need bubble wrap to cover the TV completely and wrapped around it. This will protect the screen and save guard it against bumps. 2) You should also wrap a blanket around it for further protection. Then tape down the blankets as well. 3) Never carry the TV by yourself they are quite heavy especially the larger ones and accidents do happen. Its best to be careful 4) When loading onto truck make sure that TV is in a vertical (upwards) and in an area where nothing can bump it or fall on it. 5) If you have a mattress then face the screen towards the mattress for extra protection. plus if you have 2 mattresses then sandwich the TV vertically inside the mattresses. This would be the best protection for your TV. Its that simple. No need to by LCD Boxes. they are expensive and most probably most people will throw out again. as I did!
