25.01.2022 The Louis Vuitton build has begun.

25.01.2022 A nice surf rod heading to Esperence. AJN 12ft 3pc blank 15/25lb. Full Alps components including the really nice XN series guides with heat shrink over the rear grip to protect it from the rod holders. I'm sure this will be pulling in some nice south coast mulloway very soon.

24.01.2022 First land based pinkie. Caught on a little 2/4kg cheapie travel rod combo and using a little brown trout spinning lure off the shore just north on Thames on the Coromandel NZ. Estimate it was about 3kg

23.01.2022 Next build underway. 50lb-130lb Raptor 7ft heavy land based game.

23.01.2022 A beast of a surf rod completed recently for Jimmy. Blank was supplied by Jimmy it was a 15ft CTS. Alps XN Guides, Alps Aluminium reel seat and all accessories. Expect to see this landing big Mulloway and land based snapper very soon.

23.01.2022 More customer fish pictures. The two Robs went on the annual Steep Point trip. Some nice fish and some very average conditions there too. The Mackerel pictured were caught with floating baits on a 30lb slow pitch jigging blank from Composite Developments. Not really what they had in mind i'm sure but a great effort.

23.01.2022 A couple more nearly done. Camo green and black light overhead for Craig and an ultra light purple and white spinning for Vanessa. Got the purple guides from Mach 2 customs in the US. They're awesome and I can get guides and reel seats in just about any custom colours you can think of.

20.01.2022 Rebuild completed and picked up today. It was a nice old Diawa Baitcaster. Was stripped down and had all guides replaced and a general tidy up. Came up really nice

19.01.2022 Another rod off to a new home today to Greg McGuire. This one is built on a Composite Developments Extra Sense Nano 3-6kg 7'9 blank. This is a beautiful light and crisp blank. Used Fuji K Series guides and an SKSS skeleton reel seat. This rod is off on a trip to Canada soon and i'm looking forward to the pictures.

19.01.2022 Rebuild on a nice little Hearty Rise. Converted it from overhead to Spin and put i a nice ultra light weight reel seat.

10.01.2022 A new light spinning rod finished this week for Glenn. Built in an Essendon FC theme. AJN blank and all Alps components. It has the new Alps FN and LF guides.

10.01.2022 Another new build ready for pick up also for Hector. This one is a Composite Developments Terminator blank cut down slightly to 7'2. This rod features the just released American Tackle Vortex Air guides Alps Reel seat,EVA grips and the Alps high end butt cap. This is probably the first rod in Aust with these guides and they look and feel awesome. This will be a beast throwing poppers up at Exmouth.

10.01.2022 New rod just finished for Brodie from Lean Back Fishing. 7ft 10lb blank Alps guides and reel seat. Cork grips with custom laser logo on the fore grip.

09.01.2022 A rebuild i finished this weekend. It's a nice old Wright & McGill Eagle Claw boat rod. We kept the original reel seat and wooden rear grip and sanded it down and give it a few coats of new varnish. Replaced the cork fore grip and put on all new Alps guides. It came out really nice and i'm sure Ricky will like it.

08.01.2022 New rod delivered this week. It's an 9'6 two piece 10-15kg for Steep Point. The blank is a Composite Developments Graphcast complete with Alps XN guides, TRI reel seat with EVA grips. The rear grip was covered in heat shrink to give it a bit more durability on the rocks. I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures from the trip planned for a few weeks.

03.01.2022 Finished the one for myself. It's a Neritica 7-12kg 6'6 blank from Exclusive Tackle to use out of the boat. Used the Alps AES reel seat which i think are the best looking seats around. Alps XN Titanium guides. Shaped EVA grips with flocked heat shrink on the rear grip for protection in the rod holders.... Voodoo variegated thread under bind and several coats of epoxy. It looks and feels nice. See more
