17.01.2022 Doing something a little different - gone back to making drums. This one is made from Blackbutt from the New England ranges in NSW and goat skin from my friend in Mole Creek. It's 19" in diameter and 3" deep. It has 30 'sides' and very nearly 'round'. Haven't got the steaming technology to bend wood, so square-round is my normal.

04.01.2022 Hey guitar players. I’m looking for jamming partners! I’ve been playing very badly for over 40 years and now, with so much time on my hands, decided to do some serious practice and learn to play my favorite songs properly. Anyone else in the same boat? I’ve just got my hands on a new Epiphone Pro-1 acoustic. It’s an awesome guitar perfect for playing the Blues, Clapton, a bit of southern rock, BB, Dylan, Skynyrd, etc. (Now you know my taste in music!) I’m looking for likemind...ed ladies and gents from around Wynyard (that's Wynyard in Northwest Tasmania) that would like a weekly get together to learn from each other and have some fun.
