24.01.2022 Couldn’t agree more, Josh Frydenberg.
23.01.2022 I know we always have preferred to buy Aussie made but now is especially a good time to put more of an emphasis on it. Our country has been caught out on a few things during the pandemic so let’s support our own. And even go one step better where possible and shop Sunraysia made to support our local business and jobs!
22.01.2022 When asked about the Chinese Government's decision to punish Australian farmers with an 80 per cent tariff on barley, Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas said: "This... was the consequence of the way that the Federal Government have conducted themselves. Over 120 countries stand with Australia to support an independent inquiry into the origins of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has killed hundreds of thousands across the globe. But Victorian Labor stands with the Chinese Government against our farmers.
20.01.2022 Last night, I joined leaders and ministers from over 30 countries in a virtual conference to discuss what support can be given to Beirut and the Lebanese people... following the explosion disaster last week. As part of a broader global response Australia lifted our commitment $5 million to support relief efforts in Lebanon. This will be delivered through longstanding international partners including the World Food Programme, UNICEF and the Red Cross. It’s to help ensure food, medical care and essential items are provided to those affected by this tragedy. Australia is home to a large Lebanese community, with more than 230,000 Australians having Lebanese heritage. Our hearts go out to them, the people of Lebanon and all those affected by this disaster. Thank you to President Macron and the UN Secretary-General for hosting the conference. I’ve joined with them and others calling for a full, impartial and credible investigation into the explosion.
17.01.2022 Just about sums it up
17.01.2022 COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the world’s economies, including Australia. We’re by no means through this crisis yet - there’s still a long way to go - but t...he latest data out today shows while Australia hasn’t been immune, we’ve proved to be resilient so far, with our economy faring better than most other developed countries. That’s down to the hard work of Australians and our concerted efforts to contain the spread of the virus along with the measures our government has put in place to minimise the economic impact. These include JobKeeper, increased JobSeeker, one-off payments to beneficiaries, and cash flow boosts to small and medium sized businesses. Our focus through this crisis has been to protect lives and protect livelihoods and that’s what we’ll continue to do so we can bounce back stronger on the other side.
16.01.2022 Remember, only a Liberal National Government in Victoria will pull us out of this China Belt Road deal
16.01.2022 And to think the red shirts rort went pretty much unpunished. This Labour outfit can’t be trusted

14.01.2022 Daniel Andrews’ failure to fund Victoria’s Anti-Corruption Commission means allegations of government corruption cannot be investigated. What has he got to hide ? https://www.heraldsun.com.au//80b46f5bc11fe86824dc25be15ab

12.01.2022 I have written to the Police Commisioner and the Minister calling for a full investigation into this shocking attack.
12.01.2022 Not to mention no respite for regional areas that have been covid free for weeks
10.01.2022 Proud to be part of a government which is safeguarding our national interest.
10.01.2022 COUNCIL WELCOMES $5MILLION FUNDING BOOST FOR RIVERFRONT PRECINCT MILDURA Rural City Council has welcomed a multimillion dollar commitment from the Victorian G...overnment to further transform our city's iconic riverfront precinct. The Victorian Government today announced $5million for Stage 1a of the Village Square, which will be a focal point for the second stage of the riverfront redevelopment. Mildura Mayor Simon Clemence said the funding would help transform the area surrounding the current Powerhouse, building on the work already completed on the broader riverfront precinct in recent years. "The Village Square will be at the heart of the next stage of development along the riverfront and include a cafe, landscaping, car parking and public amenities," Cr Clemence said. "These features will build even stronger connections between our CBD and the riverfront." The Mayor welcomed the Victorian Government's funding announcement which he said would play a critical role in realising the Village Square concept. "This funding is a significant boost for the second stage of our riverfront redevelopment which will provide additional services and amenities for local residents, while providing yet another drawcard for tourism and the economic benefits it will generate," Cr Clemence said. 10.01.2022 Absolutely right, we need to be backing in our small business to get Victoria and especially Mildura back on track again! Good to see Micheal O’Brien and Wendy Lovell getting out and meeting with small business.
08.01.2022 No, I don't support the Andrews Labor Governments Omnibus Bill 2020. I cannot support laws that allow for the detention of Victorians who authorised officers "r...easonably believe" may commit an offence. That wording is dangerous, ambiguous and I don't support this extreme powers. I am asking Victorians to tell Daniel Andrews just how unacceptable this is. Visit www.noconfidence.com.au and tell Daniel Andrews directly you do not support these changes.
07.01.2022 Fingers crossed the city can get a handle on it and we haven’t had any spread out our way yet
06.01.2022 The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed many holes in our supply chain for many goods and supplies. It’s certainly a good time to bring manufacturing back home #victoria
01.01.2022 No doubt about it, this Andrews government has let this whole state down. Andrews and his ministers.
