22.01.2022 Today our Kindy 1 have commemorated our soldiers buy drawing poppies using red and green crayons on Black paper. They have Also used corks and paddle pop to make tools like first nations did. Well done Kindy 1.

21.01.2022 Our Junior Kindy 1 friends are continuing on with their colour activities this week as they are still showing a lot of interest. They are all getting very good at recognising their colours. Well done Junior Kindy 1 , keep up the good work.

15.01.2022 Continuing on with Naidoc week activities Nursery 2 have been busy creating a Torres Strait Islander flag collage. The children each took a turn at creating their art piece by using their little fingers to pinch the pieces of paper and place them onto the sheet of paper with glue creating their own interpretation of the Torres Strait Islander Flag. The children have been exploring the diversity of culture, heritage background and tradition during NAIDOC week.

15.01.2022 Our kindy 1 children are continuing on with their cutting skills this week and today Miss Ket and Miss Bel introduced play dough to cut , this creates a different texture for the children to cut and also introduces another set of problems for the children to solve. They have used their problem solving skills and made the play dough thinner by rolling it out they have also used the scissors to make different patterns in the play dough. Well done Kindy 1.

14.01.2022 This week our Nursery 2 friends are having a messy play week. Today the children got to play with coloured spaghetti. The children got busy squishing the sphagetti between their hands and of course eating the sphagetti. ... Miss Krystal held up the wobbly sphagetti for the children to explore the colour and textures. This activity let the children all build on their social skills and use their sensory skills to explore the spaghetti.

10.01.2022 Today our Nursery 2 friends have focused on interactions and trusting relationships with their friends and educators. It’s important for children to build relationships with educators and other children to feel safe secure and supported in their environment and to build their social skills.

08.01.2022 Today we Celebrated our Wonderful Mum’s by having a Mother’s Day afternoon tea, we did some fun activities and ate lots of yummy food. We hope everyone had an amazing afternoon

05.01.2022 Our Junior kindy 2 friends had a nice relaxing day today , they had extended outside play this morning then had a nice surprise when Miss Toni Built a cubby house for everyone to play in. The children enjoyed playing in the cubby house and this encouraged the children with their social and communication skills.

05.01.2022 Looks like some of our friends had the same ideas today. Our Junior Kindy and Toddler rooms have both done some free drawing and painting. The educators have put some large paper on the floor and the table and the children have painted and coloured as they wished. ... This activity has encouraged the children to use their social skills by working together and taking turns, it has also encouraged the children to use their imagination to draw and colour as they wished.
