19.01.2022 On Friday 11th September the students from Years 1 - 6, from Kalannie PS and Miling PS, combined to compete in the Central Midlands District Sports Association Interschool Carnival held in Moora. All students performed to their very best ability and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the day. Thanks to the parents for helping transport the students on the day and assisting where needed. Congratulations to our individual trophy winners and huge congratulations to all students on helping us win the Handicap Shield.

10.01.2022 Our students took part in the Miling Cross Country event today. The effort and persistence demonstrated by each child was outstanding and every child was recognised for their endeavour. Thank you to the parent timers, recorders and Mr Georgy who helped out on the start and finish line. In addition, we appreciated the support of the community attending and social distancing to lend their voices of encouragement for the event. This was a terrific way to finish our semester as it has had many challenges for everyone.

08.01.2022 Today the Miling Primary School students celebrated Bandanna Day. The student leaders did a wonderful job of demonstrating to their peers six ways they could wear their bandanna. The students raised $380!! All funds raised go to the organisation Canteen.

07.01.2022 Today the students at Miling Primary School participated in National Pyjama Day. National Pyjama Day is all about wearing your favourite pair of PJ’s to help the Pyjama Foundation raise much-needed awareness and funds for children in foster care. The money raised today will be used to help offer learning skills to more than 1000 children.

05.01.2022 There have been some unusual sightings recently at Miling Primary School. One morning last week the Junior Room students found unicorn hoof prints around the room and this morning the Senior Room students found pirate treasure around their room.

05.01.2022 Yesterday the students were treated to an AFL clinic run by Glen Collins, Midlands Regional Manager, and his offsider Jarred. The students learnt lots of new games and had a great time. Thanks to Glen and Jarred for coming and teaching us about AFL.
