24.01.2022 We are now taking deposits Some of you may have already noticed, when booking online we are now taking a 25% deposit. As we head into the silly season(even though it’s always silly season around here ) it’s more important then ever that appointments are accounted for so we are hoping by adding a small deposit to the bookings everyone will be more likely to give us advanced notice if they are unable to make there booking, that way we can open up these spots for clients de...sperate for their Chrissy Brows & Lashes . These deposits will come off the total price of your appointment. The deposit is nonrefundable but if given enough notice can be transferred to another time, if less then 6 hours notice is given the deposit will unfortunately be forfeited. 23.01.2022 Alrighty pals, we are rolling both our Cosmetic Tattooing & regular Instagram pages together. All things Millennial Brow Co will now be coming through at @millennialbrowco This in our Combination Brow tattoo, done by Georgia on Mel. Colour fades 20-80% in the coming weeks & leaves a soft powdery finish underneath. This is easily our most popular style. 22.01.2022 Is it permanent? Again the answer here is yes and no. The pigment will always be there but will change & fade over time & will never stay the same. The pigment or colour we use is made of very small molecules, varying in size. These molecules are smaller then the ink molecules of body tattoos, this is what allows it to fade. ... Having the tattoo fade over time is a good thing, for the most part this stops the brows being blue like body tattoos & as we age & as our brows or the styles change we can also make some changes to the brow. However some people metabolise these pigment molecules quite quickly which means the cosmetic tattooing fades quickly. This is more common for microblading which just means we may have to try Combination or Ombre to better implant the pigment in the skin and for most microbladed clients is something we would eventually do anyway. So long story short, once you start having your brows tattooed you will generally have them maintained every few years. We recommend 6months to 2years on average but some will need sooner & some will be able to last longer between, everyone is different. See more

13.01.2022 We all want to stay youthful forever, like these two .. but really, we are lucky enough to have access to so many great skin products & treatments to help us age gracefully & enhance our look but sometimes these treatments & products don’t work so well together. It’s so important to keep your Brow & Lash gals up to date on what you’ve had done or are now using. Some of the big ones are; Vitamin A Retinol... Glycolic Some antibiotics Amongst others these guys can thin the skin & if wax is used can cause skin tears, No thanks. Sunburn is another thing as the skin is already in trauma. Other treatments to be mindful of & to tell your artist are if you’ve had Botox or fillers & facial treatments of just about any kind in the last 1-2weeks or planning on having in the coming weeks. Fake tan & even some sunscreens don’t mis well with our tints Long story short, if you’ve changed something or had something done that your not sure about, let us know & we can work out something more suited to your new routine See more

13.01.2022 Microbladed Brows on Tay bae This technique is done by hand, with a small disposable pen like tool that has a blade composed of micro needles, hence Microblade. Microblading is used to create a hair-stoke effect, this look will start off sharp & hair like but over time the hair strokes will start to blur as they fade, so eventually you will want to transition to an Ombre fill.

12.01.2022 Cosmetic Brow Tattoo covering previous Brow tattoo. 1st. Before- Healed previous tattooing(not done at Millennial). 2nd. Fresh after first session- we did a Combination Brow style (Microblading at the front and digital machine throughout). 3rd. Healed from first session- unfortunately the Microblading wasn’t enough to cover previous tattoo but fortunately we were able to transition to a Powder Brow. 4th. Fresh Powder Brow- this will heal soft & powdery but will have enough co...verage to conceal her old cosmetic tattooing. As you can see while they are fresh, they appear pixelated but once healed this creates a very soft powdery finish to the Brows. ... Some tips to know before your Yumi Lash Lift appointment Your lash treatment will take approximately 1.5hrs & with a Brow wax & tint can take up to 2hrs(more time to settle into that lash nap). It’s always best to come without make up on especially in your eye area, in most cases we do a cleanse but you will need to keep them dry 24-48hrs after, so no make up will make that easier(goes for Henna Tint also). ...HayFever sufferers or anyone with extremely watery eyes, the lift is going to be something you may want to try at a later date when your eyes are calm & un-irritated. We create a softer front to the brow by keeping it powdery, while filling them out through to the tails. We also offer a Borderless Ombre style which is softer again.

The innovative treatment works by boosting & lifting each individual lash, then tinting them for a thicker, darker & longer looking lash which will last for 8-12 weeks. 05.01.2022 Ombré & Powder Brows These styles of tattooing are done with our @goldeneye_au_nz machines. Powder Brows are more consistently full, Ombré Brows are very similar but are softer & faded out at the front of the natural Brow. Both heal a lot softer then initially tattooed.
