19.01.2022 A manual transmission accident hazard has seen Ford Australia publish a safety recall for a number of Ford Ranger models sold across the country. A number of Ranger vehicles and built from 5 June 2015 through 12 February 2016 fitted with manual transmissions could create issues changing gears and losing the ability to drive.... "The gearshift cable retaining clip may not be securely fastened, which could lead to the gearshift cables making contact with the rear driveshaft," the product recall reads. Ford will reportedly write to owners of all affected vehicles regarding the issue.
