17.10.2021 Sporting Saturday Confidence... it can feel very elusive for some of us. But please remember, confidence comes from action and we can work on building our confidence. Tell us, what makes you feel confident?

01.10.2021 Always a pleasure having these two talented Rhythmic Gymnasts train with us in the holidays! How talented are they?

24.09.2021 Thank you Coaches. I, Fiona, would like to personally thank and acknowledge my current coaching staff because without them, we wouldn't be able to have as nearly as much members as we do. Demi, Mandy, Kate, Kelsi and Heidi! A lot of knowledge, experience and accreditations they provide the club with. I'd also like to thank Kira and Zoe who were past coaches this year. Zoe is an Intermediate coach and therefore, covered for me a few times. Zoe ran the first birthday party at... the club and opened her own Beginner and Intermediate classes on Friday to fit more members in. Kira trained in our Competition level 4 squad and provided assistance in many of our classes.

13.09.2021 Parkour Gymnast of the Year is Parker. As well as being dedicated to the sport, Parker also helps his peers in a positive way by encouraging them and showing them skills. Parker also helps the coach by being the first to follow instructions and encourage the rest to tag along. He is always asking if there is anything he can do to help in the class. Head Coach, Fiona has decided to award Parker with a scholarship for Men's Artistic Gymnastics for next year. This class has not... had any members in it at the club for 7-9 years. Fiona hopes this will bring awareness to the community on what is involved in Men's Competition Gymnastics, to expand the class. Parker is a great candidate for the award as he has shown dedication and resilience throughout the year. I know many gymnasts already look up to him and wish to achieve not only the skills he can do but the leadership roles too. GymSkills Gymnast of the Year goes to Natisha. Natisha started in Beginner GymSkills, moving into Intermediate this past term. Natisha is willing to help others to her own initiative in a positive way to encourage others to achieve their best. I can often hear Natisha encouraging others or see her helping with skills she has mastered herself. It is great to see Natisha pass on her knowledge to other gymnasts to help improve their skills. Well done to the both of you

25.08.2021 Intermediate GymSkills most improved is Pacey. Pacey started Beginner GymSkills this year and transitioned into Intermediate. Pacey struggled with nerves at the beginning of the year and struggled to join into the class. Pacey now goes at the front of the line in warmups and is always one of the first to stand on the floor ready to start. Pacey's physical skills have developed but overall she has improved so much mentally, tackling her mind blocks. Going from tears to smiles, you should be very proud of yourself.

16.08.2021 Intermediate GymSkills most dedicated is Zoe. Zoe started in Beginner GymSkills and transitioned into Intermediate this year. Zoe has barley missed a session. Your dedication shows your passion for the sport Zoe!

07.08.2021 Thank you to more of our committee members who attended this evening. Thank you for your support, feedback and guidance with the best interest of the club at heart. Special thanks to those unable to attend . Gaye, who is the president of the club, even after moving back to Townsville 3000km away.... Zoe, who is the Vice President, even after moving to Melbourne. Both Gaye and Zoe reach out via message and zoom to provide their help. Anna, our second treasurer who has helped with finances for many years at the club, her help is greatly appreciated. Kayley, been involved in the club as a gymnast for many years and getting the KinderGym program progressing last year. Thank you so much
