18.01.2022 Fantastic news!!! Our 2019 Milton Showgirl and Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition State Finalist, Emily Quinn will be heading to the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter S...how! Due to the current situation covid-19 the 2020 Sydney Royal Easter Show has been cancelled, but thanks to the work of Agricultural Societies Council and Royal Agricultural Society, the 2020 Sydney Royal Showgirl State Finalists will be heading to the 2021 show instead, where they will fulfill their obligations as state finalists and experience all that the Showgirl competition has to offer. We are so excited for Emily and we wish her all the best at the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Due to this new arrangement there will be no Zone finals in 2021. Therefore our 2020 Milton Showgirl Winner Madelyn Nash will attend Zone 2 final in 2022. We have so much to look forward to...

14.01.2022 Meet the first of our Online Show 2020 Judges Emily Quinn Emily will be judging Section 3: Horses. She is a member of the South Coast & Tablelands Youth in Ag M...ovement and will be representing Zone 2 at the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Learn more about Emily below and giver her a warm welcome in the comments. 1) Milton Show Society is my local show. 2) I first became involved in the show movement when I was 5 years old showing a horse that I had learnt to ride on. 3) I have covered lots of areas of the show movement being hacking, show jumping, dressage, sporting, Judging, stewarding, CWA catering and cook book selling, interviewing competitors, musical ride before the rodeo, showing cows, being a Showgirl competitor, coordinating the teen showgirl competition and being apart of the grande parades. Im also the chief steward for the Ute and truck section of our show. 4) In my eyes my biggest achievement would be being named the 2019 Milton Showgirl and being the first Showgirl to qualify for the Sydney Royal Easter Showgirl final in over 10 years! It was a goal and dream of mine for as long as I can remember. 5) Apart from being named the Milton Showgirl one of my favourite memories has always been when I became truly inspired by the showgirl movement for the first time and seeing the girls speak on stage then in the grand parade, from then on I knew it was something I wanted to be apart of. 6)Being a horse lover I would have to say the horse section but I also have a great interest in the pavilion/ homestead produce section. 09.01.2022 Congratulations to Ulladulla High School students Cody and Annie-Maree Martin who represented our community at the recent South Coast School Steer Spectacular Competition. This event is held to provide school students in SE NSW with an opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the beef industry through involvement in a hoof and hook competition. The two steers were provided from Breeders within the Milton Ulladulla Region, Ken Leslie and Jane Macro...ssin. Cody and Annie-Maree developed the steers for just over two months to meet a set of standards for local markets set by The South Coast Beef Producers Association Schools Steer Spectacular. They were mentored by Kade King from Vincentia High and Susan and Steve Nicholas from Nicolstoke Farm. Cody placed 1st in his paraders class and 5th in the lightweight steer class, while Annie-Maree placed 3rd in her paraders class and 3rd in the medium steer class!! Both Cody and Annie-Maree are past ambassador winners and regular exhibitors of the Milton Show Society and they certainly have a bright future ahead of them. See more

At 5.30PM Wednesday 24th June 2020 an Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held at Milton Showground 107 Croobyar Road Milton in the top pavilion. (Further details to follow).... This physical meeting will replace the Zoom meeting that was proposed on 9th June 2020, due to relaxation of restrictions and difficulties for some members with Zoom. 04.01.2022 So we had a bit of fun at the Milton Show on the weekend with the Inaugural Milton Mullet Competition. Hosted by Aaron Mackay, Auctioneer Extraordinaire from De...lta Agribusiness at Wagga Wagga. 30 entries of all ages were well received by an audience of over 300 diehard mullet fans. Top mullet music combined with the quick wiitted commentary from Aaron and the enthusiastic crowd helped make this first time event an outstanding success. We would like to thank Aaron Mackay for his time and expertise as MC, (he is also one of the countrys best rural auctioneers.)
