25.01.2022 Chicken and Veggie Pasta is on the menu tonight!! As part of the boys pre-season challenge, tonight’s focus was on nutrition and refuelling the body correctly after a workout. So there’s no better way than to put theory into practice than to prepare a perfect post workout meal from there challenge booklet for them to try. 23.01.2022 1st Place - Liam Failla Statistically @liamfaillaaaaa had the best results losing an amazing 10.9kgs and 7.2% body fat. We can see significant changes around Liam’s chest, abs and arms. Liam was also the most committed to the challenge as he was the only person to not miss a single training session. On top of this he was equal ‘Core Champion’ for the month of June, which highlights how much he’s core strength has improved since staring at MBT. ... More importantly one of Liam’s goals for the challenge was to build him self into a routine for both exercise and nutrition, which would be sustainable in the long term so that he can keep improving his health and fitness. 22.01.2022 Challenge Results - Honourable Mentions Throughout the week I’ll be posting the results of 4th-1st however I wanted to highlight the success of a few more people who were very stiff not to finish in the top 4. Daniel Berryman (first photo):... @dbez90 was able to lose 6kg (6.05% of his bodyweight) and shed just under 5% of body fat. However his biggest improvement was being able to take a whopping 12cm off his waistline, which you can clearly see in his photos. I wasn’t able objectively measure it, but according to him he also got funnier throughout the challenge . Awesome job mate! Josh Anderson (second photo): @lindzy21 was able to lose 4.5kg (5.7% of his bodyweight), drop just over 3% body fat and take 6.9cm of his waistline. Josh was already quite lean however we were able to add some size to his arms (1.5cm) and lose some fat around his ab region Brock Pell (third photo): @bpell16 was able to lose 6.1kg (7.4% of his bodyweight), drop 5% body fat and take 7.2cm of his waistline. From the photo you can tell that Brock was able to lose a lot of fat around his chest and ab region. Well done mate! 22.01.2022 100 sessions! - @isabella_colombo The first person to reach the 100 session milestone at MBT! One of my first ever clients and has been a regular ever since. A 4x time core champion (the only multiple winner) and a machine with the gloves on . It’s been a pleasure #mbt #100sessions



21.01.2022 Third Place - Riley Hopkins @riley_hoppo managed to lose 5kg’s and 4.2% body fat during the 30 day challenge. This was through hard work in the gym, however more importantly the choices he made in the kitchen. Admittedly, having the worst diet in the group, Riley had to make a few sacrifices to achieve these results. The photo speaks for itself with clear changes around the abs, chest and arms. Fantastic job mate, keep up the good work! #mbt

21.01.2022 1st Place - Alan Roberts Congratulations to Alan on winning the MBT 30 Day Challenge. It was an extremely tight finish but I believe Alan overall had the best results, one of the most committed to the challenge and his 30 day transformation honestly blew me away. Alan lost 6.2kg which was a whopping 7.1% of his total body weight. He managed to lose 8.2cm around his waste and drop 4.2% body fat. Lastly he added 1.5cm (when contracted) to his arms.... Alan’s 30 day transformation looks amazing. You can tell he’s lost body fat around his ab, chest and lower back region. A deserving winner of the MBT 30 day challenge I’ll be posting a few more results throughout the next few weeks because there was honestly another 10 people that could have been featured. 18.01.2022 MBT 30-Day Challenge 2.0! The socials have been a bit quiet of late, however I’ve been working behind the scenes to make the 30 Day challenge bigger and better than before. The challenge will start on the Monday the 28th of October and will roughly finish on the 27th of November, just in time for Summer. ... There will be 2 pricing options: 1. $120 + $15 per session (Options to train 4x per week) 2. $300 upfront which will cover all 4 sessions per week (Save over $100) For those who register, you will get access to the following: - Challenge Booklet which includes home workouts, core workouts and healthy recipe recommendations (nutritional information provided) - Pre and Post Testing and a body scan to track progression - Group training sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening, with Saturday morning as a back-up or extra session. If you cannot make any of these sessions you can pay for individual sessions, however they will be at normal prices OR you have the option to create your own small group and train separately (Minimum 4 people) - Video Library of all home/core workouts - Access to private Facebook group - 24/7 support throughout the duration of the challenge Official registrations will not open until October, however if you are interested please let me know ASAP (you don’t have to commit to anything) as I need to get a gage on numbers because we might need to cap it at a certain number or make 2 groups. 16.01.2022 MBT 30-DAY CHALLENGE A few of my clients will be trialing a 30 day challenge as they prep for their man ‘o’ man night. It will involve both an exercise and nutrition guide. This challenge will eventually be opened to everyone in the near future, so keep an eye out. In the mean time I’ll be posting the boys progress so you can see how we go! #mbt

16.01.2022 30 Day Challenge Complete! The results are in and the guys did fantastic. As a group they lost 70.3kg, to put that into perspective that’s almost my weight! (71kg). On average that’s just over 5kgs per person. They also managed to decrease their body fat on average by 4.1%. The challenge consisted of 2x sessions at MBT and 2x home sessions a week. These sessions involved a combination of Strength, HIIT and Functional training. For nutrition our focus was to eat... in a calorie deficit, essentially consuming less calories relative to the amount of calories required for maintenance. Recipes were provided as recommendations, to provide healthier alternatives to everyday meals. We also cut out ‘nutrient poor’ foods and alcohol where possible, however you still need to live a little! Even though the challenge is over, I’m hoping the guys can continue the good work so that the weight loss is sustainable and that they can keep improving their health and fitness long term. This challenge will be back and be opened to EVERYONE. It will be bigger and better as we get ready for Summer . There will be more information to come! 15.01.2022 Final Session Completed The final session was brutal, testing everyone mentally and physically but everyone was able to complete the 1000 REP Challenge That puts an end to the 30 day challenge. Although not everyone is featured in this photo, CONGRATULATIONS to all 26 of you for completing the challenge. Everyone has worked so hard and sacrificed so much. 13.01.2022 2nd Place - Trent Harvey We knew we had a bit of work to do from the start, however @trentharvey_ dominated the 30 day challenge. He managed to lose a whopping 10.7kgs and 8% body fat!!! From the photos we can see a huge difference around his torso and neck region. We still have a bit of work to do, but we’ll keep ticking boxes and achieving goals. Enormous effort mate #mbt

10.01.2022 Today is a very special day for @mindbodytough. 1 year ago I opened Mind Body Tough Personal Training, with the vision of providing enjoyable and personalised training sessions to meet the goals of my clients. From the above pictures I didn’t have much to start with, only a few medicine balls, dumbbells and grass that was uneven and wouldn’t grow . I also had 0 clients and no business experience. Fast forward 12 months and I have trained 94 people all ranging in abili...ty and fitness levels, you name it I’ve trained them. I’ve ran just under 1100 training sessions which have included private, semi-private and group training sessions and hopefully by the end of the month completed a second successful 30-Day Challenge. I’m extremely grateful for everyone who has given me the chance to train them, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did (well as much as you can enjoy exercise ). I also wanted to give a special thank you to my ‘Regulars’ who continue to put their trust in me, you know exactly who you are! 07.01.2022 Important Update Regarding Covid-19 Mind Body Tough will continue to provide its usual training services. However to ensure the health and safety of everyone keep the following points in mind: - If you are feeling unwell or displaying any flu like symptoms, please don’t train and stay home.... - As normal I will continue to clean and disinfect equipment in-between sessions. If you want to bring your own gym mat to use you can! (mine will still be cleaned). I will be selling mats for $10 if anyone would like to buy their own to keep and use. 07.01.2022 4th Place - @trentharvey_ Most of you might be thinking that Trent, after the last challenge put all the weight back on which is why he was able to do so well again. This is not the case. At the start of this challenge he only weighed in 1.4kg heavier than the last challenge highlighting the sustainability after the first 30 days. On top of of what he achieved in the last challenge Trent was able to lose a further 9.1kg and 6.5% body fat. He also slashed 11.5cm off h...is waistline, which you can see in the above photos. I also noticed immense improvements in Trent’s fitness levels towards the end of the challenge. He would be one of the first to finish the ‘REP’ challenges and then go on to do extra work whilst everyone was finishing. We still have a bit of work to do but we’ve made some huge improvements! 05.01.2022 MBT 2020 UPDATE: - MBT will be closed from the 3rd of Jan to the 1st of Feb as I will be teaching in Malaysia. - There will be a slight change to the pricing of some sessions to reflect the quality service I provide. The following prices will take effect on the 2nd of Feb for a 50 minute session.... - Private 1 on 1 session $40 ($35 between 9am-3pm) - Semi Private Pairs $25 Each - Small Groups 3-4 $20 Each - These prices will still be the most competitive for a personalised private and semi-private training - Bookings: For future reference booking need to be made as early as possible so I have time to plan individual sessions. More than happy to lock in a set time each week too. - Cancellations: I don’t want to have to charge a cancellation fee, however I need a days notice if you are going to cancel your session. This will give me the opportunity to find someone else to fill that session. - There will be a few other cool things happening once I get back such as SURVIVOR week and towards the end of FEB we will be having another 30 DAY CHALLENGE! 05.01.2022 Registrations for the 30 Day Challenge are now open! If you want to participate in the challenge can you please message the page on either facebook or instagram. I will need an email address so I can send you a form. I will also need you to indicate if you are paying upfront for the challenge ($300) or ($120 + individual sessions), you do not have to pay yet. I have received a few questions about the challenge which I will clear up for everyone:... 1. Can I do the challenge from home? Yes! The challenged has been designed to be as flexible as possible. I have created 8 home workouts and 12 core/ab workouts which can be completed with no equipment required! I have even filmed all 20 of the workouts so you can follow along from home. You can also do a combination of home workouts and group training sessions if you are unable to make some of the group training sessions. 2. When are the group sessions? 6:00pm-7:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 10-11am on Saturday. (Second group from 7-8 may be added dependent on numbers). 3. What if I still want to train but can’t make the sessions or prefer to train seperate to the group? 04.01.2022 The glute med burnout One of my favourite finishers to a training session that majority of my clients complete. The theory behind this exercise is to isometrically load the gluteus medius muscle (which lies under the gluteus Maximus) to increase strength. The gluteus medius primary roles are leg abduction and hip stabilisation whilst moving.... Therefore people with weak glutes will fatigue quicker when running and jumping repetitively. This will lead to other areas of the body having to deal with a greater load, which can create poor biomechanics and injury to other parts of the body. Technique: - mini band above the knee - Feet just wider than shoulder width - Knees pushing outwards - Spine neutral, with a slight forward lean You can either hold for a specific time limit, or have someone try push your knees together for 10 second holds. Remember: Strong glutes = better performance See more

04.01.2022 Third Place - @mattyarnold_ One of the hardest workers I’ve seen at MBT, always pushing his body to the limits. Matt was already quite lean but wanted to lose some fat around his torso region. A lot his good results were from really good nutrition and cutting out as much processed sugar as possible for the 30 days. Matt was able to lose 4.7kg (5.73% of his body weight) and lose 3.3% body fat. He also managed to take 6.5cm of his waste and add 1.5cm (when contracted)... to his biceps. Matt was also the core champion for November and the first person to be able to complete the ‘challenge special’ core workout. 03.01.2022 2nd Place - Craig Meredith @chippabrains absolutely smashed the 30 day challenge. He lost 6.1kg which was 7.6% of his bodyweight (the highest out of everyone). He also lost 5.2% body fat and slashed 8cm of his waste line, which you can clearly see in the above photos. Craig also had the biggest increase in arm size (contracted) which was 3.5cm!!! Craig was extremely committed to the challenge which was why his results were awesome. He ate consistently well for 30 da...ys and completed a lot of the home and core workouts. I understand we are living in a scary time where everything is closing down (especially gyms) and we could be facing lockdown or isolation at any given moment. However, at a time like this I think it is extremely important to keep the body moving and the mind active to help both our physical and mental health. Therefore, I will be offering subscriptions for 2 private Facebook groups wher...e I will be post workout videos and tips DAILY which require NO GYM EQUIPMENT across the month of APRIL! Group 1 Adults The First group will be for adults of all ages and fitness levels. This will include workouts at adjustable levels to suit everyone. The best part is you can follow along from anywhere in your house and improve your fitness levels. I’ll also be providing my top nutrition tips and some of my healthy recipes across the 30 days! Group 2 Kids (11-16) The Second group will be focused for kids aged 11-16. As a PT, Junior Football Coach and Big Brother I can understand that the kids just want to get out there and train or play. That’s why in this group I will be providing daily workout videos suitable for kids to keep them busy and improve their fitness. This will include workout videos and sport specific training drills that will help improve your Childs sporting skillset. That way when resume local sport your child will be one step ahead of the competition. Now I know what you’re thinking. Is access to these groups going to be expensive?
