23.01.2022 People will exercise for a variety of different reasons. Lets focus on weight loss today. Here are some quick tips to think about if you have weight loss goals: We all know the basics when it comes to food but do we really eat as much veg as we should? Keep this is mind when grocery shopping. It begins at the shops. Heart Rate: To work out your max HR 220-(your age) if you are working out around 50-60% this is an easy workout not causing too much exertion. 90-100% being athle...te level only. There are many great websites even with calculators to do the maths for you. My personal recommendation is stick to a 30 min 5 days/week for an effective routine. This does not include extra walking etc this is a dedicated time to smash out a workout of choice. Its about creating good habits here. Now all of this combined should put you in a really good mindset to get started and find your way. Its ok to have off days woth both food and exercise and this is completely normal. Stay on track, have variety and keep it balanced. Make it as fun as possible and you will soon be looking forward to it everyday. Do it for yourself!

22.01.2022 September News During spring/summer I will be continuing Pilates in the Park on Thursday mornings. I have a circuit booked in on the 18th for a mums group which I am super excited about. Thoughts on a new group over spring/summer would be great. In the past lbt was really popular also HIIT, Circuits and Tabata are great ways to exercise. Open to suggestions and would ideally like 5+ attending groups

19.01.2022 Changes for January 2021: The following changes have had to be made as I am crazy busy! As many of you know I am an NDIS PT, Training out at Kapooka, at Uni studying Bach of Laws and this year had another baby To accommodate everything happening in my life and all my beautiful clients, next year Pilates in the Park will change to an event group only. This means: I will post any/all group fitness I do at the Park as an event. As I bring the equipment if you would like to a...ttend please click "Going" to allow me to train COVID safe and have enough equipment for everyone It also allows us to train in the best/coolest part of the day/night Hopefullly it also opens the door for clients who have been unable to attend current sessions It wont be a set day/time. This is only on trial to see how it goes. Sessions will still only be $10 unless stated otherwise. I look forward to seeing you all very soon See more
