20.01.2022 This Easter Weekend, I will be reading more of this I first heard the word ‘Pegan’ listening to @drmarkhyman on his podcast ‘The Doctor’s Farmacy’ (find it on Spotify) and it described how I eat, I just didn’t have a label for it. It’s basically a ‘gluten free’ version of the Mediterranean diet. It’s focuses on whole foods. 15.01.2022 Many people tell me they have a hard time stopping their sugar cravings. I relate! My sugar addiction was huge, and if my ‘darkest hour’ had not have shocked me into living a life with my eyes OPEN to the world of health, then I possibly would still be asleep to the harmful effects it has on the body.... It’s super challenging to quit when the marketing gurus for these food companies are messing with your mind. They get you and they get that you are addicted! Or ‘crave ability’ as they like to call it - yeah whatever Start seeing it for what it is! with eyes wide open - your health depends on it. Anything you eat that spikes blood sugar & increases insulin should be kept to a minimum, as these processes are linked to chronic inflammation, stroke, weight gain, belly fat, Alzheimers, cancer, heart disease, infertility, diabetes and more. Keep all sugar, flour and refined carbohydrate to only now and then. 03.01.2022 I confess to eating ‘man made food’ for the majority of my life & then.... I WOKE UP & had my AHA’ moment! & unfortunately took a cancer diagnosis to receive it. I now have an opportunity to deliver truth to other beautiful humans. ... Our food is making us sick! It is not a pill that will cure humans of chronic disease! It is a change in diet and lifestyle that will start to reverse this epidemic of chronic illness! If this sounds way too challenging to you to start eating ‘real food’ it’s ok, it’s not your fault, we have been brainwashed by food companies, outdated food pyramids and we are addicted. You CAN do it! Start small, take one ‘processed food’ from your diet at a time. I started my transformation from crap foods to whole foods by eliminating bread, pasta and sugar.
