24.01.2022 Our first outing since March, great to get these two young horses out for their first showjumping training day. Harry went well in the 70cm and 80cm and Tommy was great in the 90cm and 1.00m classes. 21.01.2022 We had a great day out enjoying some dressage training with Jodie Dunstan. Mingara Willow went well after a spell, thank you Jodie for also having a ride on her. Des had first ride on Fleur also after a spell and she was super, looking forward to seeing Fleur and Jodie's progress. It is great to see Des and Jodie work so well together. Look forward to our next catch up.

14.01.2022 What a lovely weekend we had catching up with all the Black and White Mingara Ponies. Mingara Willow is off enjoying some dressage training and going very nicely, Mingara Panda and Mingara Lovebug both having showjumping lessons this weekend with Des. Great to see the ponies that were bred by Des' Dad going so well.

12.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago we headed down to Lang Lang for the Port Phillip SJ Club April Show. What a great Committee this Club has and what an awesome job they did over the weekend. Whilst the weather gods were clearly against us the Committee did a sensational job of giving everyone the best surface they could to ride on. We were happy with how our horses went and were lucky enough to pick up a 2nd and a 4th. We chose not to start in our last two classes as the conditions ...did not really suit our girls and after being hailed upon with the two young ones we thought it wise to call it a day. Sorry for the state of the photos but this will give you an idea of the weather. Great Club and event we hope to be able to attend another of your shows in the future. 12.01.2022 Two weeks ago we headed to Shepparton for our last show of the year, again only taking 4 horses. All horses jumped super and had a couple in the placings. 1st Mingara Vonbella 1.15m 5th Mingara Ivy 1.05m... On Sunday all the horses stepped up a class with the two young horses Mingara Ivy and Bradgate Park Santa Cruize stepping into the 1.10m, Mingara Vonbella into the 1.20m and EABS Catalina into the 1.30m. Very pleased with how each of them went, whilst not in the placings they certainly jumped very well. Looking forward to next season. Thank you to Chloe, Lorraine and Pete for looking after things at home. It was great to have some of the crew back with us at the show, thank you for the wonderful company. Also fantastic to have Chloe come to Shep for the day to give us a hand, looking forward to seeing you out competing again soon. 02.01.2022 It has been a long time since we have posted but finally we made it to a show (a few weeks ago), our first outing since March. We finished at NVSJC Shepparton in March and was only fitting we start again at NVSJC Shepparton. We only took a very small team as we have retired some of our mares to stud due to the lack of events, but more on them in future posts. We took 4 horses which was great, not too busy. We had a new kid on the block being Bradgate Park Santa Cruize, l...ove this horse. So pleased with all our horses with each of them in the placings. Results as follows: 1st Mingara Ivy 85cm 2nd Mingara Ivy 1.00m 4th Bradgate Park Santa Cruize 1.00m 2nd Mingara Vonbella 1.05m 1st Mingara Vonbella 1.10m 5th EABS Catalina 1.15m 3rd EABS Catalina 1.20m Thank you to NVSJC organizers and volunteers for running the shows and having a safe environment for us and of course the program of events you have mapped out for the next few months, great to get the competitions back.
