25.01.2022 Summer Junior Baseball Update As I mentioned in the emails I sent out to all the players/parents that registered interest in playing this season, we had our CCBA meeting yesterday to discuss start dates. What we are aiming for is:- All ages groups will start Friday 13th November, play 6 games to 18th December break for Christmas and recommence Friday 29th January play final 6 games to 6th March .... While this is not ideal, we are living in uncertain times and at least we can provide a chance for the children to play our sport. More details to come and I will email registration details soon. If you have any friends or family wanting to play you can email us at: [email protected] Your child’s name and date of birth and I will send more details. Senior Competition details to come soon.

21.01.2022 I know it’s short notice but we are going to join forces with The Wildcats this Sunday and have a working bee at Watanobbi. I was at the ground today and the base cutouts are pretty bad. I always have people saying just ask when you need a hand and this is the time I’m asking. I really hope we can get a few of you there. Bring a shovel, pick or grab a hoe. I’ll be there from 8am.

Little League vs Pirates WAT 2 (we are the Barbarians side) Junior League starts 7pm vs Wildcats (we are the Barbarians side) on WAT 1 Watch this page for weather updates. If you don't hear from the coach or see no further updates that means the games are going ahead as normal.

14.01.2022 Last night was the opening game of the JL/SL season the Barbarians made up of Rebels,Lions,Indians)played off against Wildcats. I want to make special mention of PARKER ROBINSON who came along to assist coach and gave up his Friday night along with Mondays to help the team out, when you take into account Parker is not that much older than these Junior's they all look up to him as a mentor at such a young age he was a wonderful asset to have in the dug out and had the tea...m revved up the entire 2 hours. As most of the club is aware Parker is playing Seniors and has no affiliation to the Juniors other than wanting to help. I tip my cap to this young man who shows the true meaning of being a Rebel and the Robinson family for bringing him out to the ball park. Glen King JL/SL Coach See more
