24.01.2022 Greetings all. We have been a tad quiet on our social media site for the past few weeks. Workshops and seminars (which we both delivered and attended) and some client contact have been at the forefront. We are now settling on dates for our next Brisbane workshops, and will post the details shortly. Additionally, our next blog, which highlights the relevant findings of the latest Global Burden of Disease 2015 study, will soon be uploaded.

24.01.2022 We've just launched our website! Check it out:

24.01.2022 Our first ever MinimisePain workshop which we held last week in Rockhampton was really well received. Thanks to everyone who came along, and for your positive words of feedback since. We're thrilled that you got so much out of it. And also thanks to Central Queensland University for giving us this little write up:

21.01.2022 Off the back of a successful launch in Rockhampton, we are rolling out the FREE Minimise Pain workshops in Paddington (Brisbane) in October, November and December. Developed by Professor Emeritus Jenny Strong, the one-day workshops are designed for women who are living with chronic pain (future workshops will be offered for men). Seats are very limited. Please see the event page for further information, and how to register your interest.

19.01.2022 Our Clinical Director, Professor Emeritus Jenny Strong, has taught many students over the years. One of her students, Georgia Richards, is currently making some pretty serious waves! Georgia (featured below) is this week presenting findings on: Chronic low back pain, cognitive performance and circulating plasma cytokines: the role of long-term opioids therapy in Yokohama, Japan! Georgia is a bit of a rising star in this space, and was recently awarded the Women's Weekly and QANTAS Woman of the Future Judges Award. We're thrilled for her, and can't wait to see where her career goes next...

11.01.2022 Did you know? 1 in 5 Australians is dealing with some form of chronic pain. Whether it's due to an accident, illness, or unknown cause, it can be frustrating and overwhelming. Over the coming months we're rolling out a series of FREE workshops for men and women who are living with chronic pain. We're kicking off September in Gladstone. Keep an eye out on our page for further details, and future workshops in your area.

08.01.2022 Good evening all, with our Brisbane workshop happening this Thursday, we would like to get a 'show of hands' from those who have said they are interested, if they will be attending.Having a handle on numbers will help us to make it the best learning experience possible. Please, if you intend to attend (probably a very poor piece of English expression!), please email us to let us know on: [email protected] Thank you.

07.01.2022 Hi Queensland! We're very excited to announce that we have opened our doors! Thanks for all of your words of encouragement and support over the last few months as we've been getting your thoughts on how we can best offer chronic pain support. We can't wait to share with you more about our approach, and the workshops we're rolling out across the state. Stay tuned!

06.01.2022 For our workshop participants for this week's workshop, we have some parking underneath the building. Please remember to bring your morning tea and lunch. Also, please wear comfy clothes, preferably slacks or jeans or tights or shorts, rather than skirts or dresses. There will be some gentle exercises, but nothing vigorous and no mat work. And do bring a cardie in case the aircon is too cool for you. See you soon!

04.01.2022 Our Clinical Director, and Professor Emeritus, Jenny Strong, has just written a short piece on her thoughts on the health industries' understanding of chronic pain, and what should be done:
