15.01.2022 COVID-19 ALERT - HAMILTON UPDATE 8AM: The Greenroof Hotel has advised that a positive case visited their facility 10pm and midnight on Friday, 31 July.... Contact tracers will be in touch today and the venue is closed for cleaning. It is not known whether these two cases are connected. EARLIER: The Bennett Hotel in Hamilton has advised that a positive COVID-19 case visited the pub on Friday, 31 July between 5.30pm and 10pm. A deep clean of the facility is taking place today and staff are isolating and being tested. Contact tracers will be reaching out to close contacts today. This is all the information I have at this stage, but I am seeking more and will pass it on when I have it.

03.01.2022 POSITIVE CASE ATTENDED THE GREENROOF HOTEL, BENNETT HOTEL A COVID-19 positive man in his 20s has visited these two pubs on Friday night. The Greenroof Hotel... is advising: Last night at 9:45pm we were advised by NSW Health of a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our venue on Friday 31st July between 10:00pm and 12:00am (midnight). We have supplied NSW Health with our contract tracing sign-in information. If you were at The Greenroof during these times you will receive a call from Hunter New England Health today about getting tested and isolating. The Greenroof is currently undergoing a deep clean by a professional company, and while we are able to open again following this clean, we will remain closed today. All of our staff who were on during this time are now in self-isolation and being test this morning. The safety of our patrons and staff has always been our priority. Stay safe, wash your hands, The Greenroof will be back, cleaner than ever tomorrow. The Bennett Hotel is advising: We have been advised by NSW Health this evening of a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our venue on Friday 31st July between 5:30pm & 10:00pm. If you were at The Bennett during this period, you will receive a call from the NSW Department of Health today informing you of the necessary testing and self-isolation requirements. A thorough deep clean of the hotel has been scheduled for this morning, and the hotel will be closed as all staff get tested and self-isolate until test results are known. Although we do not have a lot of information at hand presently, we will make sure to pass on any relevant information as soon as possible. The health and safety of The Bennett Hotel community is our highest priority, and we value all your support through this challenging time
