21.01.2022 Remember learning to ride your pushbike? If you saw a rock in the road and kept looking at it - you probably hit the rock! If you look for a smooth path past the obstacle then you probably kept riding blissfully along. This current social disruption is just a rock. LOOK PAST THE ROCK and plan for a blissful ride. Minuteman Press Pittwater can help.

18.01.2022 Checked your letterbox lately? Who scrolls past the top 5 entries on their digital device when looking for something? (not many) Direct marketing is more powerful than digital in many respects. The vision lasts longer than a swipe, paper hangs around longer and it is then re-usable/recyclable.

18.01.2022 ...went for a casual stroll with the neighbours under the blood red sun in Manly early this morning. The annual walk against violence demonstrates our unity against domestic violence. 400 reported incidences this year shows that our community still suffers from this terrible affliction. My thanks go to Northern Beaches Council for calling us together to show we do not tolerate violence in our community. Michael Regan, Sue Heins, Kylie Ferguson and Ray Brownlee were amongst the crowd, supported by the Womens Refuge and the local police command who represent those who attend and try to repair the damage caused by these ugly incidences. It was nice to see a large contingent from the Navy as well.
18.01.2022 Sometimes the marketing from another culture really does not work in your own culture. I find this advertising to be offensive.

14.01.2022 In a previous life (this century) I worked in support of a customer in a very competitive marketplace. Their head office gave them revenue targets that seemed laughable given their market position especially in light of the GFC. The market leaders cut costs by shedding staff and reducing customer service costs, so much so that one of the competitors no longer exists. My customer responded by investing in marketing and sales, they put pop-up stalls in major shopping malls and in street markets. They increased their profile on TV, in radio and in print media. Not long after the end of the GFC they had doubled their revenue and increased their market share. They had become top-of-mind in their chosen market. Minuteman Press Pittwater is Open For Business and we can help your business stay top of mind in your chosen market today.

04.01.2022 This is going to be a LOT of fun. Wayne & Jane (mostly Wayne) have collected a LOT of interesting artefacts dating back to 1939. Their brik-a-brack includes Daleks from Dr Who to an aeroplane cockpit and the old Palm Beach Wharf sign. This is a great, very successful local business so make sure you register for this unique event.

02.01.2022 The bitterness of poor-quality lasts long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten The cheap alternative for commercial printing is offered by the largest subsidiary of a multinational company based in Dundalk, Ireland. So, if you need cheap print for your business and dont mind having little or no control over quality or timing, then by all means go online. However, if you need your businesses image to be forefront, and you need control over the quality and timi...ng of your advertising the you should call us. We care about your businesses image and understand the complexities and timing in marketing processes. We fix the mistakes of the multinationals, and we are VERY local. Call us on 02 8407 7040 or drop in, you can even find us online at www.pittwater.minutemanpress.com See more
02.01.2022 Window Shopping - saw it in my letterbox first. While you read this interesting article from Mark Davies, MD Whistlr Ltd UK, remember that Minuteman Press can help you with all of your direct marketing needs. The direct mail industry is steeped in data, and theres little doubt that the medium is indelibly linked to online behaviour. Most people, upon receiving a piece of direct mail will go online to investigate further or even complete a purchase. However, over half o...f people doing so will use a search browser, and therefore it becomes difficult to understand the actual effect this print medium has on a consumers online journey. As a result, ELMA commissioned a study asking the same questions to a representative audience of 11,000 people in 22 different markets across Europe to investigate the attitudes and behaviours of consumers who were recipients of direct mail media. For me, the research was about understanding the consumer journey and the role direct mail media plays. We wanted marketers to hear what consumers are saying in todays increasingly digital world, to understand what they think about traditional print media and how it drives their interactions. The research identified that. on average, 60% of people spoken to said that direct mail media is one of their preferred channels for receiving retail offers. When looking at the interactive impact, it was found that 89% of people said that after reading direct mail items, they went online. These interactions were occurring in a number of different ways that included searching through a browser or specifically typing in a unique url taken directly from a piece of direct mail media received. Of course, other media, whether its TV, out of home, email or social all play important roles in the communication mix. However, not one of those should be allowed to dominate or control the conversation, and direct mail is continually proving to be an effective and complimentary communication channel. Sometimes, too much is made of the disruption or interruption of digital and for those who are investing all or the majority of their marketing budget in digital media, Id suggest that they are spreading themselves too thinly and narrowing results. Digital has only given people something else to do; it hasnt replaced things. Research like this is a great way to understand our audience and create effective and successful campaigns for the brands who work with us who work with us. We realise that consumer behaviour is increasingly happening in the digital world, yet this research provides clear evidence that direct mail media drives consumers online. Direct mail media has an important role to play in the customer journey and is most effective when used in conjunction with other media. + For more information on the ELMA and its Perception of Door Drop Media report, go towww.elma-europe.com (http://www.elma-europe.com) See more
