03.01.2022 NET ZERO EMISSIONS = THE ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION OF AUSTRALIA ALAN JONES : The car industry has gone. No use bleating. The automobile industry today, what tomorrow...? Well, I want to give off you five words that you must learn economic off by heart, they are the shortest economic suicide note ever written. Say after me, "net zero carbon dioxide emissions". Come on. Repeat it "Net zero carbon dioxide emissions". This is what government that is now talking about, on the day that Holden died. What does Net zero carbon dioxide emissions mean? It means closing down coal-fired power stations. And subsidising more bird chopping wind turbines or sending more money to China, exchange for solar panels. Coal-fired power carbon stations only contribute 29% of our total carbon dioxide emissions if that's your worry is. Transport emissions are 18%. Agriculture 14% of Australia's total carbon dioxide emissions. We get twice as much of our energy from oil and gas combined as we do from coal. So net zero just carbon dioxide emissions doesn't to just mean no coal, it means no gas power to cook with, it means no diesel to it power trucks and heavy machinery, it means no exports of coal or gas, and it means no meat or dairy because agriculture. So get rid of transport agriculture. I will come to transport in a moment. So today Holden is dead. How many other industries will we kill off with politicians absurd ideology ? How many this politicians will stand silent on appease this issue while they try to policy appease the Green left with a emissions policy of net zero carbon dioxide emissions, playing Russian roulette with our economy ? How will expect governments pay for everything we aged expect; pensions, public hospital, aged care, kids with disabilities, public schools, our defence force ? Net zero carbon dioxide emission means no air travel. No Qantas, no Virgin. And the destruction of that almost every job in the economy is that relies on tourism. So, another industry gone. Hotels, Restaurants, motels. Bed and breakfasts, cafes, Restaurants, transport operators operators, baggage handlers, Taxi operators. This is what is on the agenda if you rabbit on about net zero carbon dioxide emissionses. Last year 9.3 million International tourist visited Australia spending $50 billion. Well, Professor of engineering Julian Orwood a professor of engineering and environment at Cambridge University said last week; "the only way to hit net zero is to stop flying". He said the only way the UK can get to net zero carbon dioxide emissions in aviation by 2050 is by having a substantial period commitment of no aviation at all. He said, if you want to achieve the halving of flights in aircraft 10 years, he called for" taxing aircraft fuel". Which he said would "make flights up to four times more expensive". The idea that we will will magically invent some new technology using solar panels and big batteries is fantasy. All this ideology, always ends up somewhere. The car manufacturing industry is gone. Are now going to gamble on our tourism sector and all the wealth it creates? Will we gamble with our transport agriculture, gamble with transport industry ) And for what? Because it won't stop bad weather or change global temperatures. This is a war against the economic destruction of our country. Today, Holden is gone. Ideology has won. What next? The most dangerous enemy in our country today, are those on the conservative side of politics, who want to appease this latest economic suicide note; "Net zero carbon dioxide emissions"

01.01.2022 Pretty much sums it up.
