Mr Scott Cage (Principal MSHS) and Mrs Shellie Laidlaw (Junior Secondary Deputy Principal MSHS) attended our parade today to present Lachlan and Jessica with their scholarships.

16.01.2022 Mirani SS P&C is a proactive, practical group that gets things done to support ALL students just look at our AWESOME shade cover over the multi-purpose court! The P&C needs help to continue to enhance the environment and opportunities for your child/ren. We need a Treasurer for 2021, and it would be ideal for the volunteer/s to do a little ‘role shadowing’ before the end of the year. Most of the revenue streams and tasks are now electronic, and support will be provided by the previous Treasurer and School Admin. 13.01.2022 Congratulations to our Mirani Girls and Boys team at the Mackay Robotic Competition today. Both teams worked really hard to program their robot through the rescue maze. The Mirani Girls team were crowned the number 1 team at the competition. This is now 2 years in a row for winning. Congrats to the students involved. Thank you to Mrs Noble, Mr Johnson and Mr Brown for helping run lunch time lessons for the students. An extra special part of the day was meeting the Qld Deputy Premier/Health Minister Steven Miles, MP. Our students had a great chat with him about robotics. Great work Mirani.

10.01.2022 Today is Remembrance Day. Mirani SS will pause for a minute's silence today at 11am to remember those men and women who sacrificed for our country. Our leaders will also attend a special Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Mirani Anzac Memorial at 10:45 this morning. Lest We Forget.

Reminder that the bus will be at Mirani SS at 8:15am to leave and will return for buses in the afternoon. Please remember hats, sunscreen, water bottle and food for the day. Enjoy students!!
