24.01.2022 Howdy Misfits I'm sure many of you have been wondering "Sonya where are all the amazing client photos? You know the ones where you wave your magic hook & have all the dreads looking tidy again? " Well let me tell you that I have been waving my magic hook & making all the dreads tidy agian but alas I have not been taking photos. "Why?" I hear you say, well as you can imagine everyone has been in desperate need (thanks to good old Rona) of a good tidy & we all know what... that looks like! 11.01.2022 Heads Up Misfits It is with a very heavy heart that I need to inform you all of a new policy that is effective as of today (15/09/2019). Due to some people not showing up to their appointments & giving little to no notice when needing to cancel or reschedule I will now be requiring a deposit to secure your appointment. The Details are as follows: ... A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required within 24 hours to secure your appointment, if the deposit is not made within the 24 hour time frame your appointment will be opened back up for other clients, meaning you will not have that appointment reserved for you. Each appointment will require a deposit, meaning that if you book a dreadlock installation that requires 2 appointments a deposit of $90 will apply. All deposits are required to be payed into my PayPal account within 24 hours (as stated above). Please use this link: https://www.paypal.me/scudmore All deposits made will come off your total bill at the end of your completed appointment. (eg: the total cost of your 3 hour appointment was $135, you payed the deposit of $45 so all that's left to pay is $90 at the end of your appointment.) If you need to re-schedule/cancel your appointment a 48 hour notice is required, if you re-book your appointment when giving notice the deposit will be transferred to your new appointment. Simply not showing up ensures that you don't get your deposit refunded & may effect any further appointments required. 07.01.2022 Heads up Misfits here's the COVID plan Ok, so here it is, the plan..... As some of you have mentioned hairdressers are allowed to open now, I however have chosen to give myself a few weeks to prepare for total chaos & become COVID ready for opening in November. So as you guys may be aware I have a rather long list of people waiting to be contacted, most of you are being really patient, I really appreciate & thank you for thatYou Rock... This week I started contacting clients on my list & will do so day by day, priority will be given to those who had appointments cancelled due to the most resent restrictions, regular clients will be next, then new clients (sorry new clients but I will not be doing new installs till the new year) To help things move along quickly it would be great if you could please respond within 24 hours of me messaging you so I can move onto the next person. (if you happen to find someone else to tend to your locks I totally understand just please let me know) So the RULES We will both have to where a mask for the duration of your appointment. Hand sanitiser needs to be used before & after your appointment. Unfortunately there will be no toilet facilities as these are separate from the salon & within my house. Sorry no extra visitors will be aloud to wait within the salon during your appointment. I will also have to take some details for contact tracing, I have clients come from all parts of Victoria some travel from regional VIC so I'm sure you can understand why these rules (I hate that word!!) are going to be in place. I know we are all desperate to get our dreads spiffy for xmas but if you have even the slightest of symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, temperature) DO NOT COME, 24 hour notice would be much appreciated. So damn formal isn't it? But I couldn't live with myself if someone got sick because I was complacent & just like you I want to see my friends & family in the flesh ASAP.
