22.01.2022 This week cake from the weekend. Blaze and the monster machine theme for Orlando. All I was asked was it needed red and white stripes. The rest up to me. I do have to thank my hubby who helped make BLAZE with me. He did a fantastic job at crafting the body of blaze. Cake was a huge success and Orlando just loved his truck. Happy birthday matey. 18.01.2022 First of many cookie sets are starting to leave. 8 down only 144 more to go. Holy moly!! That equals 825 more cookies to bake Boys have said though - " why mum can't you bake vanilla bean cookies all year round. They taste so good" Look forward to sharing the mass production this weekend with you all.

17.01.2022 To say I'm relieved this week is complete and the mum of the birthday girl was blown away, is an understatement. So glad after rescuing my cake and starting again yep at 10pm last night, all has worked out and come together. Happy birthday to the gorgeous Bianca. Not sure the photo does it justice. It was very pretty in real life. White roses were supplied to me to use as these were from Bianca's christening cake. Everything by me.

15.01.2022 Following on from my post earlier, I know the bride would have seen her cake by now. So here it is. 57cm or 22.5" inches tall, 7kg of chocolate ganache used, countless eggs ....handmade flowers. Really happy with the end result. Hope the bride and groom are too Lauriston House function centre.

10.01.2022 It has been so long since I've posted that it seems I've been MIA. I promise not just super busy enjoying the feative season and holidays with my family. Now the kids are back at school its time to get caking again. In fact this past week I did create my 1st cake for 2018. So here's to a fantastic year ahead.

09.01.2022 It has been so long since I've posted and so much has happened. The move to QLD went well and my family and I are starting to settle in and really find our feet. We love where we live. Yesterday I baked my first cake in 8 months. Now it has a slap up very quickly put together - chocolate mud with homemade caramel sauce. Not bad at all if I say so myself. Happy saturday

03.01.2022 So this morning, this memory popped up and what a cake it was. Biggest cake I ever made. Each tier was a minimum of 2 cakes. A huge wedding I catered for. All handmade and decorated. Looks simple and elegant. Many of hours in this one.
