25.01.2022 Cara has certainly created a beautiful light filled sanctuary on the Mornington Peninsula to welcome clients. Cara has also honoured her role as our Miss Eyelash Brand Ambassador on the Mornington Peninsula over the last 2 years, & we couldn’t be more proud of her own journey especially navigating her way through Covid 19 as a new salon owner at @lahlah_beautybar Hear Cara’s journey with Miss Eyelash.... I met Emma for the first time 2 years ago, when I was hired by Wilo Beauty who put me through training with Miss Eyelash. Fast forward 2 years and I am now a Miss Eyelash Brand Ambassador, running my own salon. When it came time for me to take a massive leap of faith and go out on my own, it was a no brainer for me to stay with the Miss Eyelash brand. Over the last 2 years Emma has been a supportive mentor, she has such and eye for detail and I feel honoured to have been able to train under her & be pushed and guided into the lash tech I am today. Having done a generic eyelash course before I met Emma, I was so surprised at the huge difference of curriculum. Emma has developed a unique formula that she calls The Miss Eyelash Method. It is this formula that enables all artists to produce the consistent ‘natural’ looking extensions, that the Miss Eyelash reputation has been built on. It was quite fascinating to learn! She has always taken time to help me no matter how silly my questions have been and is such a supportive mentor. Thank you Cara for your support. @misseyelash

22.01.2022 My turn. This is me, quite raw, Emma Vosti, the brains (can I say that) & voice behind the business & brand Miss Eyelash, that has consumed my life for over the last decade. I have decided to close the chapter of Miss Eyelash & relinquish the reigns as Australia’s most natural looking eyelash brand in part, to dedicate my energy to health. During covid I began my second round of chemo for cervical cancer & although I am travelling well with treatment, my priorities have defin...itely shifted. This has been a decision that I have not taken on lightly. As you now may be aware, from the last few posts, I have been quietly working behind the scenes with a few artists that I am excited to pass the baton to & support as the next generation of elite artists. 20.01.2022 It’s been a big day & an interesting turn of events. Back in July, you may or may not remember, that I closed the Miss Eyelash chapter in my life, to concentrate on my health. Well, as it turns out, today I actually sold Miss Eyelash to the most delightful young soul who, with fresh eyes, I believe will take the business to the heights that I only dreamed of.... Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last decade. It sure was epic, & a time in my life that I am incredibly proud. It comes down to a range of factors including the desired look, how long you want your extensions to last, budget and time restraints. While Volume lashes will last longer, they do take longer to apply and therefore cost more. They also have a "wow" factor that may take some getting used to for new clients.... Tash is an independent Eyelash & Brow Artist & one of our Miss Eyelash Brand Ambassador’s who we have been working closely with over the last 12 months. We couldn’t be more proud of her journey & will continue to support & watch her thrive as an elite artist in her field. ... Hear Tash’s journey as an eyelash artist. After 5 years working as a lash technician from home I was wanting to up my skills and move into a commercial space, I just was not sure where to start. This is where my Miss Eyelash journey started. I saw an ad on the Miss Eyelash page for training and jumped at the opportunity. Growing up on the Mornington Peninsula I was aware of the brand and image that Emma had created for the Miss Eyelash look. Emma’s training not only included the skills but a formula to lashing which was completely new to me and I thought that with 5 years experience I couldn't learn much more but I was totally taken back by her methods and attention to detail. More importantly the guidance on how to create a professional spa like environment and how to run a successful business. All of this is usually missed in other training courses which only show you the skill itself but not how to turn that skill into a thriving business. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to training with Emma, she had such an immeasurable amount of knowledge of this industry and has provided ongoing support to help me start up in a professional space. She is my guru, my mentor and my savior in some challenging situations.
