24.01.2022 Yesterday we were advised by SUNA, that due to guidelines issued from Netball SA, the 2020 Winter Season start date will be postponed until WEDNESDAY 3rd JUNE. The season will be a 12 round minor round competition with NO season break. The finals series will start on 25th August. Match attendance is limited to one (1) spectator per player. SUNA needs to ensure there is less than 500 people at the venue at any one time, if they do exceed 500 then they will delay games. ... Game times have been provisionally scheduled for: 6:45pm and 8:15pm. SUNA have scheduled more time between games so people can flow in and out of the venue in a less congested way.

19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, In light of the situation sweeping our Nation we thought it best to keep you informed in relation to COVID-19. The wellbeing of our netball family is at the forefront of our minds. Mitchell Park Netball Club has had no reported cases of the virus, however we encourage everyone to continue to keep vigilant in maintaining high hygiene standards. ... Good hygiene measures include: washing your hands often with soap and water washing your hands before training and after training sessions (perhaps have some sanitiser on the side of the court and encourage the girls to use regularly) using a tissue and cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze avoiding close contact with others, such as touching, handshakes (bit hard to do but common sense should prevail) Please ensure you EACH bring a water bottle and towel to training to ensure there is minimal transfer between participators. At this stage ALL training sessions and TRIALS will go ahead as normal. We will continue to keep you informed if there are any new directions from SUNA and/or Netball SA. 01.01.2022 Even though we are out of lockdown; restrictions, that were announced on Monday 16th November, are still in place in relation to organised/team sport. This means we will NOT be returning to training or matches until further notice. 01.01.2022 With the ever changing environment we are currently facing in the wake of COVID-19 the Mitchell Park Netball Club Committee has come to the very difficult decision to suspended all training until further notice. Whilst all of us involved at the club arent currently experiencing any symptoms of the virus its important we adhere to all the advice and guidelines set down by the Federal Government, State Government, Netball SA and SUNA to help curve the spread and protect those more vulnerable than us.
