The Mitchelton Centre of Football Education is being established to provide an opportunity to gain additional education in football from highly qualified staff who have coached football teams and managed players both in Australia and overseas.... The Centre program will be managed and delivered by Mitchelton Football Club Senior Technical Director, Juan Carlos Buzzetti (FFA A Licence) and Mitchelton Football Club Youth and SAP Technical Director Joe Fenech (FFA A Licence). Small-sided games, Functions and Phases of Play, will all be used in a complete twelve-week program designed to enhance the players understanding and appreciation of the game. This, combined with better decision-making, will provide all players with the opportunity to perform to their ability at all levels of the game. The program, with targeted outcomes for various age groups and skill levels, has been developed, and is currently being enhanced by Carlos and Joe and will, in most cases, be delivered by them. 19.01.2022 NPLW RE-SIGNING EMILIE TAYLOR Mitchelton FC is pleased to announce the return of Emilie Taylor.... Emilie is a strong and uncompromising central defender. A leader at the back, we are looking forward to Emilie marshalling the playing group in 2021. Emilie has travelled vast distances from her original hometown in Sacramento for football. Initially, at a young age of 16 she was called up to play for the U-19 Portuguese national squad. Then two years later she travelled across the United States to play at Minot State University in North Dakota. Welcome back to the mustangs Emilie.

19.01.2022 FQPL SIGNING ZHAYDAN BASSON // How long have you played at Mitchelton FC? This season coming up will be my third, but we’ll call it my second. 2020 was 2020 to me after suffering an injury that ruled me out for the season.... What are the reasons you re-signed for Mitchelton FC? Love the atmosphere and the group from last year so hopefully most of them are staying. I also feel the coaches have faith in me trying to become a better player and prove my self at this level. After being in top form before my injury last season, I'm looking to get the opportunity to hit those peaks for real this year. What do you enjoy about playing for Mitchelton FC? I like playing some soccer and the artificial pitch is pretty sweet as we never miss a session. The Club has been real supportive and has a great vibe. What do you see as your strengths as a player? I’d say dribbling and having fun with it, but I’ll pop up with some goals next year so we’ll add that. What are your expectations of Mitchelton FC for 2021 Season? I believe we’ll do well, promotion is what we all want. // Welcome back, Zhaydan!

17.01.2022 Half-time score; c’mon boys!!!

16.01.2022 FQPL SIGNING WILLIAM EATON // I played for Holland Park FC in 2020. The reason I joined Mitchelton was the goal to fight for promotion with a club that I see has a great potential to achieve this for the 2021 season. After speaking with Dan, Gerry and Kurt it was clear that they are laying great foundations both on and off the pitch to help all players be able to focus on the job on hand for the year.... As a player I believe my strengths are that I am technically quite good on the ball. Always getting assists and scoring goals and being able to read the game with good vision while on the ball and off. This season, the goal is to gain promotion into the NPL. Since signing for the Club I have noticed the effort that goes into the team from the staff off the pitch. Within 24 hours of signing we were given a pre-season training schedule for individual players to ensure we are ready to start strong. Everyone has been so welcoming and I’m looking forward to getting into pre season with the lads and having a great year. // Welcome to Mitchie, William Eaton!
