25.01.2022 On Monday the 20th of April we are pleased to announce that we will be opening Mittagong Respiratory Clinic. In partnership with the Federal Government, and the Primary Health Network, Mittagong Respiratory Clinic will be open 7 days per week, from 9am to 5pm. The clinic will assess, test and diagnose Covid-19, influenza and other respiratory illnesses. It is located in our lower basement level, completely separated from our general practice. Our respiratory clinic will asses...s all patients that have any upper respiratory symptoms, such as cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose or shortness of breath. 24.01.2022 We welcome all of our doctors back to the practice this week. During the past couple of months we have had a number of doctors on annual leave, sick leave and study leave, and we have really appreciated your patience during this time. Our respiratory clinic continues to be open everyday from 8am to 5pm.

23.01.2022 Our Practice now has plenty of Flu Vaccines in stock. If you know of any family and friends who havent yet had the flu vaccine please tag them in the comments.

23.01.2022 We still have stock of the government supplied over 65 Flu Vaccine, the Vaccine for children, and the free vaccine for those patients with various chronic medical conditions. Given that the government has now exhausted their supply and practices will not receive anymore vaccines, these will not last for long, so please book an appointment as soon as possible, while stocks last.

Here is a basic list: Children - Keep Immunisation up to date - Regular measurements on growth rates ( height, weight etc )... - Promote Healthy Eating, Drinking, Oral Health and Healthy Sleep Patterns - Promote healthy physical exercise Young Adults - STI Checks for the sexually active - Women commence cervical screening every 5 years - Regular skin cancer checks At 45-49 Years of Age - Measure Blood Pressure - Cholesterol Check - Calculate BMI (Body Mass Index) - Cervical screening every 5 years - Mammogram for women dependent on risk - Risk of Diabetes Calculated - Heart Health Check Performed - Yearly Skin Cancer Checks - Review risk of osteoporosis in women - Blood Glucose Checks 50-64 Years of Age - As above - Bowel cancer Screening at least every 2 years - Review risk of osteoporosis in men and women 65 Years of Age and Over - Yearly Flu Vaccination - Pneumococcal Vaccination - Yearly Skin Cancer Checks - Regular blood pressure checks: (from 3 monthly to 3 years depending on risk factors) - Heart Health Checks (every two years) - Cholesterol Checks (frequency depending on risk factors) - Aged up to 75, two yearly checks for Bowel and Breast Cancer Ask one of our Doctors about any of these preventative checks today!!!!

15.01.2022 We are pleased to welcome two new General Practitioners to our team from next week. Dr Ramanathan and Dr Gouravaram are both experienced doctors who are looking forward to meeting all of our patients. Dr Ramanathan is a female General Practitioner who has been working locally in the Southern Highlands, while Dr Gouravaram joins us having relocated from Wollongong.

12.01.2022 We are very pleased that our on-site X-Ray department will be open again commencing from Monday. Our X-Ray hours are 9am-5pm on weekdays.
