Progressive practice servicing Rural and Regional business Diverse Role Experience in Accounting firm or similar practice desirable but not essential. Knowledge of Myob AE will be beneficial but not essential. MJA is a well established mid-sized accounting practice that has been in operation for over 60 years in the region. We are located in Rural South Gippsland with locations in Leongatha and Korumburra with 4 partners and 20 staff. The firm provides Taxation, Business, Superannuation, Financial Planning advice as well as general accounting and bookkeeping services. An opportunity exists for a competent, professional and confident practice manager to join our firm to work with the Partners in a key management role in Finance, HR and operational roles. The role will oversee the administrative functions of the firm and help shape the development of the practice. This role is pivotal to the practice and at times being the face of the practice. The role is available for an immediate start. Key Responsibilities include: Ongoing financial management of the practice finances for the firm and reporting Assist with strategic planning of business and development Manage client billing, reporting, and cash flow management Oversee and manage Human Resources Oversee computer system upgrade and management with external IT contractor. Manage workflow, and office operation including administration. Provide Support to Partners on matters as they arise. A salary Package commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
