12.01.2022 We currently looking for the right bass player to join our group with the intention of gigging locally once COVID is over. A group of seasoned gigging musicians with live experience looking to complete our lineup. The band currently has a permanent rehearsal space, where we jam frequently. We also own our own PA, consisting of a full rack mounted XR32 digital mixer setup, speakers for front of house & the ability to run IEM as some of our members do. You would require either ...your own amp combo or alternatively a digital setup for FOH. Ultimately we are looking for an experienced bass player, who is genuinely down to earth & willing to leave their ego on the last plane out of Sydney. If that’s not you, need not enquire. A bit about the band: We have been jamming as a band since January 2019, have had several lineup changes although have maintained the same Vocalist, drummer & guitarist since then. Currently consisting of 2 guitarists a drummer & vocalist, looking to achieve that classic rock full 5-piece twin guitar sound. Aged between our mid-20s to mid-40s, our influences are quite varied. Although we all agree we have a love for classic rock The Doors / ACDC / The Angels & Led Zep. Also heavily influenced by all mid-80s to mid-90s rock. Can be anything from Guns N’ Roses & Van Halen to Pantera & Megadeth. Not to forget Pearl Jam / Soundgarden / Faith No More / Foo Fighters & Alice in Chains. Having said all of the above, we realize this doesn’t always cater to all crowds so we tend to throw the odd mainstream party favorite in, anything to get the local pub crowd going. This would be a great opportunity for someone with previous gigging experience & a no BS down to earth attitude like the rest of us, looking for a long-term position playing the local pub scene as that is our intent moving forward.
