25.01.2022 Kara and Chris- A Gabbinbar Love Story Chris and Kara summed up their relationship in three words. Honesty, Adventure and happiness. Their springtime garden wedding reflected this. It was quintessentially an English country garden look which had to be seen to be believed. The romantic ceremony was followed by a stunning reception, held in a beautiful glass roofed conservatory. It was like something straight out of a midsummer nights dream! The day began with a relaxed brunc...h at Queesnpark, for all the guests attending the wedding. Consequently, this allowed Chris and Kara to spend plenty of time with everyone, as we all know it can get busy at the wedding itself. It was then onto the couples chosen venue, Gabbinbar Homestead, for a wedding like no other. Chris and Kara chose Jarrad Bayliss to be their celebrant, with the ceremony and reception both held at Gabbinbar Homestead. This was also the location of the couples wedding photography and what a wonderful backdrop it made. Furthermore, Karas dress was made by the grooms sister. Kate Gubanyi of the GC bridal lounge, whilst the groom wore Instichu. Karas hair was perfected by Hannah Hensley, and her make-up look was created by Marley Hammond. The team from Fable house films were on hand to capture the special moments with their epic cinematography. Floral decor was designed by Deanes Wedding Flowers. Following their evening party Chris and Kara left to spend some quality time together but they soon realised theyd been so busy celebrating all day that they hadnt had a chance to eat much at all. So it was a midnight run to Maccas on this pairs wedding night! Chris and Kara then headed off on a mini moon where they revisited all the places theyd stayed while they were falling in love. Likewise, on the wedding night itself they stayed at Prestons eco ridge hideaway. The first place they ever went away together. Finally it was a five day retreat in a cabin outside of Tenterfield, complete with uninterrupted views of beautiful landscapes and rolling hills. They also made time for a trip to Stanthorpe, staying at a vineyard and indulging in some of the best wines around. It sounds like an unbeatable way to start married life together to me.

24.01.2022 Fiona & Clayton The first few words that come beaming to mind when we think about the word marriage are love, patience and commitment but how far can you go to say that these notions of marriage have been true, right down to the centre of your love, when it feels like that is all you have left? When their world was flipped upside down, just eighteen months into their relationship, it was these three values that had never stood so true for Fiona and Clayton as they embarked... on an emotional and physical journey after Clayton was involved in an accident, leaving him paraplegic. Through the great triumphs of life and the determination and commitment of one another, it was this turning point that solidified the meaning of togetherness in their relationship that only the two of them will ever understand. As the chapel doors of Summergrove Estate swung open, warmth and light flooded the bright white walls followed with proud tears, outbursts of happiness and melting hearts. What a moment. Clayton looked on, standing tall and just oozing with pride a milestone in itself as he watched Fiona float effortlessly down the aisle to become his forever love. But Claytons ability to demonstrate strength and commitment didnt stop there. Even though he rolled into the reception with his bride by his side, there was no way he was missing out on his first dance. Family and friends gathered as Clayton stood in the arms of his number one supporter, his forever soul mate, and danced his way through moments that once seemed unreachable. And just like every loved-up married couple, despite the challenges it took to be there on this day, this day was all about celebrating their commitment with one crazy-fun party and the people who made their heart sing. Planes were delayed, bridesmaids unable to attend and a visit form the Ambulance when Clayton fell from his wheelchair, (who says you cant dance till you drop, even when you are already sitting down!?), none of it mattered. These little things were exactly that, just little things nothing was going take away from the most magical day of their life. It was milestone after milestone throughout this day of love for Fiona and Clayton and it was beyond a pleasure to be there to witness it unfold.

18.01.2022 Emily and Paul- Happiness will exude you in all of lifes finest moments. It will creep up through unexpected times. It is revealed as mornings wake and when passions of love ignite. Happiness is exactly what graced every moment of the day Emily and Paul became one. The smiles were wide. Every moment of the day, had them with the love surrounding, will no doubt continue for their lifetime together. Marriage for me is about demonstrating my commitment to share your lives t...ogether, being there for each other through anything and everything. There were games, first looks and a beautiful first kiss as their guests watched on with hearts exploding; one hundred and ten of their finest, an almost even mix form Australia and the UK gave these two lovers an incredible initiation into their first few hours as husband and wife I guess thats what it made for the ultimate celebration! Everyone came together under the Octobers skies of Austinvilla Estate, with a hinterland outlook and a hidden treasure, this incredible Gold Coast venue unveiled a day of magic for all those fortunate to be a part of. The simple rustic styling perfectly complimented the warm love and of course that kind of happiness we spoke about earlier, the kind that makes you giddy inside, that makes you smile even when youre just an onlooker. Being there to witness this pure goodness unfold was truly an honour. With journeys that have individually led you together, and now the ones that await you as one, I have no doubt that the world is in for wild ride. 09.01.2022 Hannah and Matt- A picture perfect Springtime Wedding Hannah and Matt met during their schooldays. It wasnt until a few years later that Matt plucked up the courage to start chatting to Hannah. And the rest, as they say, is history! Fast forward several years and Hannah and Matt were preparing to spend their whole lives together. They celebrated their love with an unforgettable wedding ceremony in the company of their nearest and dearest.... This couple describe their relationship as fun, chilled and loving. To Hannah and Matt, marriage means trusting, giving and being willing to change. It means security in each others love and support. It means always having someone to talk to, laugh with, confide in, and work together with. Hannah walked down the aisle to a wonderful cover of Im Gonna be (500 Miles) by Sleeping at Last. The meaningful lyrics made for an incredibly emotional start to this wedding ceremony. The couples celebrant was Kate Turner, and both the ceremony and reception took place at Cowbell Creek, a truly picturesque setting with photo opportunities galore. Catering was provided by Catering by Clancys, and flowers were designed by Missy Labelle. The Brides Mane managed hair and make-up for Hannah, who chose a dress from Grace loves Lace. The Groom chose Tarocash for his suit, and Wood and Beau for bowties, cufflinks and socks. Anchored Cinema headed up the cinematography, creating a beautiful wedding film for this couple to treasure for many years to come. I asked Hannah and Matt what stood out about each other. Their responses really summed up why theyre such a perfect pair. Hannah said that Matt has a pretty good sense of humour he makes me laugh (sometimes at him, sometimes with him haha). He is open and honest and 100% selfless, he has become my best friend the one person that I confide in about all my feelings, the one I vent to after a tough day and after a successful day, the person that picks me up after Ive crumbled to the ground with uncontrollable sobbing. In return, Matt told us that he loves Hannah because she is energetic and high spirited. I love her laugh that I can always hear when she is over the moon. She is the most determined, strong minded person I know she will never let anything get in her way. After their ceremony, Hannah and Matt took to the dance floor for their first dance. They chose Ed Sheerans Tenerife after all, youve got to have a bit of Ed Sheeran at a wedding havent you?! The newlyweds then partied hard with their 70 guests until about 10pm! It was a honour being part of this loved-up couples wedding day, and we cant wait to see what the future holds for them. Congratulations, Hannah and Matt! 08.01.2022 A Romantic Winter Wedding at Coolibah Downs Private Estate Set amongst 10 acres of Gold Coast Hinterland, Coolibah Downs Private Estate is a stunning venue for wedding celebrations. The setting was recently chosen by newlyweds Vanessa and Brodie, as the backdrop to their intimate, stylish ceremony. The wedding day had a lot to live up to, as Vanessa and Brodies proposal story was one of the most romantic weve ever heard! Brodie proposed to Vanessa on the couples seven yea...r anniversary, during a stroll around Queenstown Gardens. As the sun set over the mountains, Brodie stopped Vanessa to say, you know I love you right? And when she turned around he was down on one knee with the ring shed spotted five years ago! Of course, there were seven diamonds on that ring. Hows that for perfect?! For their special day, Vanessa and Brodie chose a formal, winter ceremony with their nearest and dearest. Stand out moments from the day included getting dressed up, singing karaoke in the limo on the way to the reception, and of course marrying each other. Vanessa also told us that the couples photography session was one of the highlights, something we always like to hear! Vanessa and Brodie chose some fantastic tunes for the day. Vanessa walked down the aisle to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Shed heard the song on the radio a year before and knew instantly that it was the one. For their first dance, the couple chose If I Aint Got Nothing by Alica Keys, because of these incredibly well-suited lyrics: Some people want diamond rings. Some just want everything. But everything means nothing. If I aint got you. The couple chose Kim Maree Summers as their celebrant, and picked beautiful blooms from Nessa DIY. Makayla King did the makeup, with Rochelle Buschkuel taking charge of hairdressing for the occasion. The bride chose a dress from Mia Solano, whilst the groom wore a Zenetti suit. The ceremony took place at Coolibah Downs Private Estate, with the guests then moving on to Twin Towns Services Club for the reception. Catering was provided by Twin Towns Functions and Events. This wedding was two years in the making, and everything was organised to perfection. Following the romantic ceremony, the pair partied hard into the night with their guests. They told us that as the night went on, they let loose. The shoes came off, the drinks were cold and they let their hair down. Vanessa and Brodie wanted to make the most of their special day, and they certainly did! Vanessa and Brodie are now looking forward to their honeymoon. In November the pair will be jetting off to Canada, to start married life with a snowboarding vacation to remember. Thats the way to do it.

06.01.2022 Epic Celebrations at Sandstone Point Hotel! Lisa and Ben chose Sandstone Point Hotel as the location for their beautiful wedding day. The celebrations had a relaxed, rustic feel, and took place across several of the hotels spectacular event spaces. This happy couple met via online dating, and before long Ben had swept Lisa off her feet. A few years later Ben proposed while the couple were enjoying a holiday in New Zealand, in front of the incredible backdrop of the Onsen ho...t pools. Despite an unfortunate knee injury just before the romantic occasion, were pleased to report that Ben still managed to get down on one knee! The wedding day itself was idyllic. The couple decided on a winter wedding, in the company of 73 of their closest friends and family. Lisa and Ben wed in Sandstone Park Hotels chapel, which overlooks a lilypad-dilled lake and stunning grounds. Later, we made full use of the incredible scenery of this venue, capturing precious moments on the waterfront, and in the hotels breathtaking manicured gardens. Ben told us that his standout moments included seeing his new wife walking down the aisle with their kids, walking into the reception as Mr and Mrs, and of course the brilliant best mans speech. Lisas favourite moments included the speeches, Bens vows and being able to share the day with their children. For the wedding ceremony, Lisa and Ben chose celebrant Reverend Matt Govan, and flowers were kindly provided by the mother of the bride. Lisa picked a show stopping dress from Pronovias, and Blushd Brides were on hand to provide hair and makeup. Bens suit was designed by Roger David. Lisa and Ben celebrated long into the night, making the most of this once in a lifetime occasion. And the festivities didnt end there - shortly after the wedding the couple headed off to nearby Bribie Island for a romantic honeymoon retreat.

04.01.2022 A Breathtaking Belongil Beach Wedding. Sarah and Sam Sarah and Sam were wed before a beautiful backdrop of Belongil Beach, in a magical ceremony attended by some of their closest friends and family. The wedding styling made full use of the beautiful, natural scenery, creating a stunning boho look for the days celebrations. Sarah and Sam defined their relationship as strong, understanding and ever-changing, with Sam telling us that Sarahs beauty, professionalism and sense o...f humour were the things that really stood out for him. For Sarah, it was Sams commitment, honesty and of course his smile! The Couple met when they were just 16, and the rest, as they say, is history. Sam proposed to Sarah at sunset, in the Crystal Creek rainforest retreat. Before long they were hard at work planning their wedding day. The reception took place at Bliss and Willow at The Belongil, and the entire place was adorned in beautiful blooms from Lolas Wildflowers for the day. Sarahs dress was from Grace Loves Lace, and Sam chose a suit from Peter Jackson. I asked the happy couple to tell us about their stand out moments from the day, and they both mentioned those all-important speeches! For Sam, one of the best parts was seeing his new wife walking down the aisle, to the sounds of Rise by Eddie Vedder. For Sarah it was those romantic vows that really made the day sensational. Following an intimate ceremony with celebrant Siobhan Adams, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance. Sarah and Sam chose to dance to there will be time by Baba Maal and Mumford and Sons. Soon after they were joined by their guests to party the night away. The happy couple jetted off on honeymoon together shortly after the wedding, and what a honeymoon it was. Sarah and Sam travelled all over Europe, visiting France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. What a way to start married life!
