22.01.2022 Having trouble choosing bricks for your upcoming project? Check out Krause Bricks, run by Mark's brother in Stawell, VIC. We have used them on several projects, including Ormond Primary School.

16.01.2022 Krause Bricks, Grampians Blue... a nice blend we think. http://www.krausebricks.com.au/

15.01.2022 Interested in sustainable and environmentally friendly options in terms of heating your home? Consider a HRV unit, or heat recovery ventilator to heat your home and provide fresh filtered air. For more information, see the link...

15.01.2022 I've redesigned the windows on the west facade. The biggest window is now aligned with the trunk of the huge tree in the front yard, and they've all been lowered so that the kiddies can get a better view of the outside world.

13.01.2022 Ormond Primary School, Ormond VIC This project was designed as part of the Federal Government's "Building the Education Revolution" stimulus plan. Our focus was to create an eco-friendly comtemporary childhood learning centre which would create an environment unlike a standard classroom for the students. We used Danpalon polycarbonate sheets to create a translucent wall on the cantilevering first floor, vibrant external and internal paint finishes as well as a passive ventilation system to help achieve this.

13.01.2022 Some reading for the weekend.

12.01.2022 Ever dreamt of building your own house, but worry you don't have the skill or know-how? Straw bale might be the answer! ...and ease of construction isn't the only benefit! See the link.

07.01.2022 We've just been notified that our Ormond Primary School project has been listed as a finalist in the Dulux Colour Awards for 2012 under the category of Commercial Exteriors!

05.01.2022 As populations increase and forests decrease, it is getting more and more important that we use renewal and sustainable timber species in our construction projects. Boral is a great supplier of building materials and its timbers are Australian Forestry Standard Certified. Have a look through these brochures for more information; http://www.boral.com.au//ordering/PDF/6T_05566_HrdW_Tim&Dc... http://www.boral.com.au//or/PDF/6T_06094SustainBro_v5.pdf

03.01.2022 Take a look at this stunning house in one of my favourite Melbourne suburbs. It's been around a little while now, but it I keep coming back to it - Mat

02.01.2022 Curvy things don't normally do it for me, but there's no denying how stunning this house in Nagano, Japan is - Mat
