17.01.2022 An unique opportunity to take part in a study being carried out by University of Lincoln that is looking to understand the impact of the current Covid-19 restrictions on your dogs behaviour and well-being. We do not know how the restrictions might be impacting the welfare of pet dogs or what carryover effects it might have. While we obviously hope we will not experience anything similar again, this does give us a unique opportunity to examine the effects of major changes to routine on dogs.

09.01.2022 Hey Everyone Just thought I would give you an idea on how to build some jumps at home. Then later I can put am some training ideas for you to do in the backyard. Its good to give you and your dog some entertainment when you are stuck at home more than usual. These are just rough guides but easy to do with bits from the hardware store.

05.01.2022 We all know the teenage years are a turbulent time for humans. This is also true for dogs. For many dog owners the 8 - 24 month period of adolescence can be problematic. Even the star of the puppy class, can become frustrating, unruly and simply maddening in some ways. This is a natural stage of development that is poorly understood so good to see some studies going on.

04.01.2022 Attention Intermediate & Advanced Class Covid-19 has robbed us of our group training classes we are offering an online beginners class for our beginner members we didnt want you to miss out so we have put together an online animal trainers course for those interested in expanding their training skills and digging a little deeper into the understanding of animal behaviour. Maybe after finishing the course you might be interested in helping out the club as an assistance instructor when we can get back to our group classes. The course is self-paced where you can come and go, learn or not learn, the choice is yours. Members please email [email protected] for a login and password to take the course. https://www.perthtraining.com/instructors-course
