06.01.2022 D e c k update // We have been working hard during the Christmas break, which has allowed us to finish the central deck! For the record: We have used recycled timber, the sides only have been made from new deck boards (@bunnings) ... Grass around the tree has been suppressed by a layer of cardboard ( it's under the deck) Deck was sealed and stained As the step we have used a railway slipper The edges ( corten steel ) are in place as well- we needed to adjust layout a bit for the sake of the tree ( Robinia) roots. Next step - planting and mulching, the most exciting one!! P.S.
