It was attributed to Jerome K Jerome and most everyone knows it and finds it amusing because we have probably all felt this way at one time or another. Work is fundementally important in life and the decisions that we are able to make with regard to "what we do" can shape what we learn (yes, and earn), what we share with others, and to an extent who we become as we continue our life journey. We are not "what we do" but we are certainly affected, positively or negatively, by how we spend our labour in work. See more
