24.01.2022 Thank you all for your COVID-19 compliance today. Proves we can safely run our horse sports day in this current climate. As the Foundation President and the President of our club for the first 3 years I’d like to thank everyone for the friendships and good times. The club is now established and running with a great committee. So today it was my pleasure to hand over the baton to new President Leigh Howson. Thank you to the Lions Club of Wallamba River and Online for constructing our new event bridge. It’s wonderful to have the support of our local service club.

22.01.2022 10th April 2021 event is CANCELLED due to the grounds being closed. We’ll arrange a make up date. We hope everyone’s horses are recovering ok from the rains and bloody.

11.01.2022 The Australian Barrel Horse Association has been closely monitoring the developing situation of COVID-19. In view of the government’s stipulations and advice re...garding the banning of non-essential events and for the well-being of our members, affiliates and volunteers the Board of Directors have decided to suspend all ABHA events in the foreseeable future. We understand the serious nature of COVID-19 and will continue to comply with the latest advice from the government and health authorities to protect the health and safety of our members, affiliates and volunteers. We will continue to review the situation and advice given by the government regularly, and will keep our members updated on the situation and will advise affiliates and members immediately when we are able to continue with our affiliated events. Affiliates who have dates in the calendar will have the option to be credited for their event or have their affiliation fee refunded. As the COVID-19 situation continues, the ABHA National Finals and Equitana qualifying criteria will be reviewed as necessary, and an update will be provided. We sincerely appreciate your patience and sincerely hope we can get back running again shortly.
