09.01.2022 Good Morning All, just wanted to take a few moments to say thanks to an AMAZING bunch of young Australians who over the last week and a bit have march from Warw...ick to Brisbane to re-enact the march of the Dungarees. You are all a real credit to you families, your cadet units and the Australian Army Cadets. There were some good times and a few bad times, but in the end we all pull together and achieved the aim, that after all is what is all about. As a soldier of over 32 years, I have been involved in many marches that involved me marching down the street to the beat of a drum, but in all my years I think yesterday was the most proud I have EVER been to march down the street behind this bunch of truly amazing kids. I must also say thanks to the most outstanding, amazing, professional and totally dedicated staff that I have ever had the privilege to work with you are all very special people. The originals would have been so proud of what you all achieved and I know that they are all looking down on us totally gob smacked had what you have done. As Jock told you yesterday morning you all now have a Dungaree who is your guardian angel. Again Thanks - WO2 Dudley See more
