25.01.2022 The Modbury Jets Men’s Seniors Presentations held at the Smith Partners Stadium Clubrooms was a great success. We would like to thank everyone that attended including our Major Sponsors, Corinna and Ryan Smith of Smith Partners Real Estate, Cr Damian Wyld - City of Tea Tree Gully ,Cr Lyn Petrie - Drumminor Ward, Blair Boyer MP - Member for Wright , YouTube sensation and game commentator Ben Dale and his lovely wife Stacey. Congratulations to all the players that won awards ...including Michael Gallina who won Club Person of the Year and Shane Kelly Appreciation Award for Photography / Social Media. We would also like to thank our Club Executive Committee Members who had such hard and challenging work during a Covid year, all our volunteers especially Damian Burchell (Reserves; 1st Team manager), Hayley Burchell (Reserves; 1st Team strips) Rob Matteo, Andy Swan ,Tony Caruso (Players meals), Paul O’Connor (BBQ, general jobs), Matthew Selby (Match Day Programme) and Martin Jackson helping out the committee members and website. Finally thank you to the coaches, support staff and players. To the departing coaches and players we thank you for your time at Modbury and you are always welcome. Although the First team didn’t have a Season we all hoped for after the fantastic start, we had strong performances by a young Reserves side and Under 18’s both finishing 2nd in the League and a game away from the Grand Final until Covid once again put a stop to the season. We also had the Football South Australia Player of the Year in the Under 18’s, Jokew Wuol, so going into season 2021 albeit in State League 1 we think the future is bright and the goal is to return to the NPL where we think a club like Modbury belongs. We will shortly post news on our two new life members.

24.01.2022 Modbury Jets are pleased to announce that Nigel Gill will continue on the coaching panel and be the Reserves Coach again in 2021. Nigel's teams have had an excellent win loss record as well as developing players for the first team. Nigel is a much loved Personality of the Jets and embraces everything about the one club motto. #Wearemodbury

21.01.2022 Modbury Jets Soccer Club is delighted to announce we will be fielding a Senior Women's team in the Football SA's STATE LEAGUE! In four seasons we have gone from strength to strength for our women and junior girls. With an excellent grassroots programs and a clear pathway for our junior girls to the Community and State League, this is exciting news and a positive step forward. 21.01.2022 Phil Taylor was like part of the furniture at Modbury Jets, be it home or away you would always see his smiling face. He would remember everyone and always had something nice to say and welcome you when he saw you. As a Committee Member, Life Member and Volunteer Phil would go beyond the call of duty to make Modbury Jets a special place to be and make everyone feel welcome. We will remember. 11.01.2022 Every year Football South Australia run their State Program trials for various age groups and programs. Here at Modbury we are so proud of every single player we have, and then we get that chance to nominate them to trial for these. In this uncertain year of COVID players were fortunate to still have this opportunity. We would like to congratulate all players who were nominated and trialed in 2020 and give a massive cheer to our players who were selected in the various Stat...e Programs for 2021. This year we lose two of our girls to the State Team Full Time programs, but couldn't be more happy for them to be chasing their football dreams in such a wonderful environment. Well done Mimi and Bayley you are a credit to your coaches, club and families. We wish you the best of luck on your new journey. 07.01.2022 Modbury Jets are delighted to have one of our up and coming players commit to the Jets. Jett is a very consistent defender with a great header for his size. Had a fantastic season in the Reserves and got a chance late in the season in the first team. We expect to see more of Jett in 2021. #Wearemodbury

04.01.2022 A lovely farewell with a send off Phil deserved. The Modbury Soccer Club send much love to Cathy and Nathan and the rest of the Taylor family and thank them for letting us be a part of a special day in remembering Phil. Along with Cathy the Modbury Jets would like to thank everyone who attended the service, watched it on live stream or sent best wishes and thoughts to the Taylor family. Phil will never be forgotten.

02.01.2022 Modbury Soccer Club 2020 Amateurs Presentation Video. It was a case of so close yet so far, the Reserves, C Grade and Over 35's all finishing Runners Up after the Minor Round. We added a new team in the C Grade and they had an outstanding season. We are looking forward to see how the Amateurs can build on next year and how far they can go. ...
