15.01.2022 We are extremely happy to inform our members that earlier this week the committee voted in a new Chairman to act in the interim role until the AGM and he will then nominate formally to be appointed for the full 2 year term. To introduce our Chairman to those who may not know him personally, Tom Coombe is a very well respected businessman in our local community and is the Media Director at Zest Advertising located in Ridgehaven. He has been a continuous member of MVSC for 28... years and is one of only 7 life members. During his service within the club he has been a player, coach, club referee, club sponsor, ladies sponsor and supporter of teams at all levels. Tom is a passionate supporter of football (soccer) and the local community and is excited to take us into the next phase of our club as the redevelopment nears completion. The committee are proud to have such an amazing new Chairman to take over and continue the exceptional work of our previous Chairman, Stuart Carlisle, who although is no longer on the committee remains an important part of the club as both a life member and continuing supporter. Tom says he is looking forward to being part of taking Modbury Vista Soccer Club to the next level in 2021! We hope you can all congratulate him on his appointment and welcome him as the new Chairman.
