23.01.2022 We would like to inform you that M6A will be closed for business the week of February 22nd to 26th. For bookings prior to or after these dates, phone: 0400521539

21.01.2022 Bookings already coming in quick for June. As of July we will only be taking day by day bookings as there is a little one due mid month. Book now for any servicing, repairs or diagnosis.

20.01.2022 ENGINE LIGHT - WARNING LAMP Technicians come across warning lamp concerns almost daily. How the diagnosis is conducted though, is to inconsistent. But here is how we do it: * confirm the customer concern - verify the light is illuminated.... * Scan the ECU - retrieve diagnostic trouble codes * Test vehicle operation - observe vehicle drivability. Is anything else affected that maybe have been overlooked or unnoticed? * Erase codes and re-assess * Expect codes to reappear. (In this case codes for an Oxygen sensor reappeared) * DO NOT ASSUME IT IS THE SENSOR * Inspect the control circuit from ECU, power supply, and ground circuits * Ensure the wiring harness has no open, shirt or excessive resistance. * At this stage you MUST be able to justify to the customer why they are paying $300 for a part prior to any labour charge. * Sounds easy doesnt it! Avoid shotgun repairs and throwing parts at a vehicle until you can justify why.

20.01.2022 When in ISO, install some lights on the M6A Disco! Hope the book keeper doesnt notice these

17.01.2022 It’s time for a little break. We are returning Monday 1st. You may still message for bookings, or queries.

17.01.2022 We are still open! On a personal note, the best we thing can do at the moment is keep our distance. As a sole trader, mobile repairer, and restricting bookings to one customer per day, M6A are still operating for vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnosis as normal.... Due to part supply traders and their handling of COVID, repair times may be impacted. However as we have been previously doing over the past few months. We continue to follow the correct and common sense measures. Stay safe, and a big thank you to all whom have been on board with M6A. Your custom is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mark.

12.01.2022 Can not complain about this Melbourne weather at the moment. Another routine service in the sun! This vehicle doesnt get used much throughout the year, so we have discussed options on maintaining the vehicle without hitting the pocket hard, but keeping it reliable!

12.01.2022 YES WE ARE OPEN, taking April bookings. Adhering to the social distance requirements, and current rulings, I am accepting limited bookings per day. DM or message (0400 521 539) if you require any mechanical assistance. Offering mobile servicing and general repairs.... Mark.

11.01.2022 SERVICE TIP: Saving Money Through times of financial difficulty like we are currently facing it is easy to postpone the service on your vehicle. However, a basic oil change could be the difference in damaging the engines internal components, or ensuring it continues to run efficiently. A minor service cost will outweigh the cost of a new engine. Any other additional log book service requirements can be discussed with your mechanic and completed over a period of time to help with finances, avoiding an upfront blow to the pocket.

06.01.2022 Good evening all. I have been receiving a few messages now asking if I am available for servicing. With the current position we are all in, the answer is Yes. HOWEVER, this will depend on any lock down decision we face over the weekend, and best practice in maintaining a safe social distance. For those messaging, I will be in touch after the weekend. Stay together, support each other through these tough times. Have a great weekend. Cheers. Mark.
