14.01.2022 Perth Lockdown and FRINGE WORLD: Update for our customers The Perth metropolitan, Peel and the South West regions will begin a five day full lockdown from 6PM S...unday 31 January to 6PM Friday. FRINGE WORLD events and venues will be closed during this period. We hope to welcome audiences back to FRINGE WORLD from 7pm on Friday 5 February so that we can all continue to enjoy events until the 2021 Festival ends on 14 February. Government updates regarding COVID-19 are here: https://www.wa.gov.au/government/covid-19-coronavirus Ticket refunds If you have tickets to events occurring between Sunday 31 January to 7pm on Friday 5 February you will be automatically refunded. You will receive a further email detailing how this refund will be processed for each event. Please note that there may be a delay in processing refunds during this busy time and we thank you for your patience. Support artists If you have tickets to a session that is cancelled, you can support the artist by purchasing a ticket later in their season, if they have sessions available. FRINGE WORLD Festival is presented by ARTRAGE Inc a non-for-profit registered charity. We have the Fringe Fund initiative, with funds raised normally going to FRINGE WORLD artists for Award grants and other artist support. Due to the impact of cancellations this week, we will be directing all Fringe Fund donations raised during the 2021 Festival to support the artists impacted by this week’s lockdown. You can donate when you purchase a ticket from the FRINGE WORLD website or make a direct donation here: https://www.fringefund.org/ Fringe Fund donations will be distributed fairly between the artists who have sessions cancelled this week. We will also be supporting artists to access box office loss support from the State Government, if they are eligible. If you loved our show, or missed out on the chance to see it, be patient! We are looking to collect new stories to perform later in the year. 02.01.2022 Due to the 3 day Covid lockdown this weekend, we will not be going forward with this fortnight's Modicum Labs workshop.
