25.01.2022 Moffatdale's community playgroup with Mrs Perry was full of sunshine, song, sparkly moon dough and stories. Come and join us every Wednesday (except for school holidays) from 9 to 10:30am and experience the magic of Moffatdale.

24.01.2022 I really enjoy boasting about our school's amazing attendance..... Week 8 100% attendance for Preps to Year 5 with only one student away sick in year 6 for one day. That just goes to show how marvellous Moffatdale State School really is!!!!! Congratulations !!!

23.01.2022 What’s happening Week 8: Don’t forget - Monday is national fairy bread day! Come dressed in your brightest colours (sunsafe). NO breakfast club this morning as we will share some fairy bread at morning tea Monday: 8:30-10:45 our final Prep open morning/class transition for 2020! We welcome visitors to our school. ... Current year 2s to 3/4, current year 4s to 5/6. Current year 6s to assist in P-2 room. Buddy reading 2:30pm Tuesday: swimming today! Don’t forget togs and towel. LOTE with Sensei Wednesday: Drama with Mrs van kempen; playgroup 9-10:30; school banking today Thursday: our schools 6mth check in with Mr Bobby; Religious instruction Friday: parade 8:45. Health van will visit the school today - each class will participate. Notes regarding this will be sent home this week. Our focus is ‘we strive to do our best’ Teaching strategies of SLANT, cold call with no opt out and show me are ongoing. We are working towards a Culture of Error within our school meaning it is okay to make mistakes - this is how we learn

We will have Mrs Wessling take 3/4 Tuesday/Wednesday and Miss Kingston Thursday... Monday: Playgroup with Mrs Perry 9-10:30; Instrumental music and after school band practice until 3:30 Tuesday: Health and PE with Mrs Goschnick; LOTE with Sensei Wednesday: Music with Mrs van kempen Thursday: Religious Instructions Friday: Small schools athletic carnival. We welcome all visitors. Go Moffatdale!!

22.01.2022 What a great parade! We have had a number of awards presented - students of the week, sight words, caught being good, arts, PE, reading improvements, school banking and 100% attendance for Year 1 (wk 8/9), Year 2 (wk 8/9), Year 4 (wk 8) and Year 6 (wk 8/9). So awesome!

15.01.2022 We celebrated our wonderful Teacher Aides, Mrs Perry, Mrs Sippel, Mrs Lorkin and Mrs Wiley and support staff (Business Manager) Mrs Granger on parade. These ladies go above and beyond for our wonderful students, teachers and school. I don't know how we would cope without them. Thank you for everything you do - we truly appreciate it! Addi and her art club worked on the handmade cards and flowers were purchased locally from the Murgon Florist.

14.01.2022 What’s happening Week 9: It’s a busy busy week! Make sure we get lots of sleep and with the hot weather, bring along our water bottles to stay hydrated! Breakfast club every morning 8:15-8:30.... Monday: Year 5 leadership speeches 2:15pm Tuesday: swimming - don’t forget togs and towel! *Year 6 students heading to Goomeri in 2021 - a transition opportunity 12-2pm. Miss S will take students across. Permission slips to be sent out Monday. LOTE with Sensei Wednesday: Final playgroup for 2020. 9-10:30. Thanks Mrs Perry for running a successful playgroup yet again Drama with Mrs van Kempen; final school banking for 2020. P&C Christmas break up. Starting at 5:30pm - sausage sizzle and presentations. Special visitor approximately 6:30pm. Covid rules apply. Thursday: Year 6 graduation at Dusty Hill 6:30pm. Friday: parade. Permission slips for end of term rewards will be sent out this week.

Rewards Day Each class will be participating in classroom rewards. Free dress day - wear your bright colours! Friday: final day of term.
