10.01.2022 RE: YOGA Program 18-19 April 2020 QT Gold Coast MOGA, like many of our collegiate organisations in Australia and abroad, is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation with a particular focus on our educational programs. MOGA is working within the RACP guidelines and policies on COVID-19 but this is evolving daily. Modelling suggests the peak of cases in Australia will be around July and the Federal Government is of the same view. Many of our hospitals and institutions are canc...elling educational meetings and cancelling staff travel plans indefinitely, restricting in-house meetings and implementing isolation requirements. Given these considerations the MOGA Executive have decided to postpone the forthcoming YOGA event scheduled for 18-19 April 2020 at the QT Gold Coast. We are currently negotiating with the event suppliers and are hoping to reschedule the event for later in 2020 or early in 2021. MOGA will update you regarding our future plans once these have been finalised. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this challenging time.
