25.01.2022 Remember if your packing the pony and coming to stay, there are 18 metres round yard or a tree lined grass arena available to hire. Do ground work, work on your moves or relax under the trees and critic a friend. Warning! With views down to the river and across to the creek from the arena, it can be somewhat distracting. 23.01.2022 The clean up never ends.....so good when we can enlist the help of these guys Outlook Tree Solutions Jimmy James Weston did another amazing job today! Cleaning the rest of the road in and clearing mountains of dead wattles. Even better the mulch goes straight back into the bush to help with the Regen. No more straggly scary hollow (well there is some that Robbie and I can do) feels good for the head!

04.01.2022 We had a visitor to the farm Susan Ley MP. Whilst the enormity of the devastation is at times overwhelming for so many, surely we can take a positive outlook. Thank you sincerely for the funding that supports the South East Local Land Services to enlist a variety of experts in their field to help with the recovery. After 80-90% devastation to the farm, losing the bush, sensitive mangroves/wetland devastation, wildlife, livestock, major infrastructure etc the help is so greatl...y appreciated. The local indigenous weed control teams are doing an amazing job in all the sensitive areas and compiling a list and photos of what is coming back so we can catalogue track and protect. Having the pest control is essential if we are ever to have the safe return of the wildlife that was here. Fencing off the devastated wetland and banks will too allow the new growth thrive. We are all so busy rebuilding physically and mentally that any help makes an enormous difference. Thank you. PS this morning on driving out I was so happy to see a pair of Swamp Wallabies, one of which had a very full pouch!! Thats happy days! See more
